I had a pleasant experience at Dukes in Watson. Our server was very attentive and our meal was on the spot.
That is how I would describe this place. The décor is really nice. The service is attentive, but still most of what they serve is breaded-and-fried seafood that you kind of can get anywhere. Having said that, I had the unusual sounding eggplant with shrimp and crab casserole. It was good, you might like it better than I did. Hush puppies very nice to start.
Our server was z-best. I had gator bites, Shrimp, and Crabmeat Eggplant Casserole. Those fried mushrooms were scrumptious ?
Fantastic experience as always here. Waitress was very attentive and courteous. Bit of a wait but it comes with the territory for a restaurant this great on a Friday night. Just wish they had reservations for parties of 4 or 5 people.
