This particular waffle house is great! It is always clean and the servers are really sweet and attentive. We go here all the time and it's very consistent!
Meh. Only ever come here because it's the closest with cops always a buzzin around town on nights like the block party. Service, bless their hearts almost always sucks....
3 employees no customers I called multiple times to try and order to go for my kids after visiting my mom in the hospital. I literally walked in and there phone was ringing not one employee flinched. The one sitting in a booth got up and walked around the kitchen. Not even acknowledging me at the register trying to still place a to go order. Called my kids and asked if they wanted wendys... horrible customer service no willingness to work at all. Like zero interest in working just passing the hours for their check. Won't be back ... filthy location too.
Poor people that work there, we went in one night and the ladies were super friendly. It was time for shift change and the person that was supposed to man the grill showed up but shortly after walked out and went home. The employees had to close the doors because they had no one to work the next shift ?.
Waffle House It’s advertised to be open 24 hours. I visit this location at 8:06 PM on March 23, 2022. I was standing by the door waiting for a table to be cleared so that I could be seated. The dining areas were full of customers. The waitress tells me they’re doing take out orders only. But yet several people were there inside eating. No notice on the door to let consumers be aware that after a certain time it would be takeout only. I will never go back Very poor customer service !!
The food was ice cold because they let it sit on the line until everything was ready. It took over 2 hours total.. brought half the drinks over thirty minutes after sitting down.. then another thirty minutes later brought the rest... took 20 minutes to get a table to begin with because had to stand there waiting for it to be cleaned
Not busy at all and service was ok nothing great. But I was there for food and it was better than most times there. Only complaint was my cheese was not melted in my omelette but I slide my hash browns on top and did the job. So overall experience was just okay.
It was ok, With different cooks at diffrent waffle houses, you never know, the time before this Covington visit, I was at another Waffle House and the hash browns where under cooked. So, I tried to tell the waitress this visit, I wanted them a little crispy on the outside. They came back burned, the rest of the family's hash browns looked good, like I wanted. It made me, wish , I wouldn't have said anything. It blows me away, that a burger and hash browns cost $10.00 now. I think the reason, I like waffle house is, that I am starving or been out late drinking and nothing else is open. Because, for the price, I can think of a lot of better places to eat.
Surprisingly good coffee and wonderful people. Really enjoy the hash brown bowls loaded with goodness.
The cooks don't know how to cook eggs especially over medium had to send it back three times and even on the the fourth time the white was still running and they still made me pay for the egg even though I didn't need it
