This small locally owned restaurant near the Tammany Trailhead has great food. We ordered a half muffalata which we shared. A popular place for locals and run by group of cheerful women. Contrary to its ne,it isn't a Mexican restaurant, but serves excellent Louisiana food.
The Shrimp Po-boys are exceptional! Tender Shrimp fried to perfection, not overdone. Mine was fully dressed on top of some very fresh, French Bread.❤️ We’ve gotten these twice so far… A New Favorite!
A nice little restaurant. The memu is quite extensive. My wife and I had the shrimp poboy. We didn't have to wait very long for our order to arrive and it was screamin hot. My wife had a half sandwich and she could barely finish it. I had a whole sandwich. We left full and happy. Don't pass up this little gem!
Love the staff. Great service. Shrimp bo-boy OK not great. Good Gumbo. The BEST muffalatta any where. Love Love them.
Always has been and will always continue to be my favorite place for poboys on the Northshore. Fried oyster po boy was delicious, and the gravy cheese fries are just so incredibly good.
Very clean, excellent food, friendly family atmosphere. Surprisingly great menu selections. Right in heart of downtown.
