Was packed on a weekday. Ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfect. They should train there servers to be more present. We needed drink refills, butter and steak sauce and by the time we seen our server or any server, we had already finished our meal, which is hard to believe with how packed it was, I think the bussers were running more of the food and accommodating requests. Overall was satisfied though. 4 stars for the steak and meal, 2 stars for service!
You know what you're getting with TR. The food isn't bad, but the sides are terrible and don't match the entrees. We went for the rolls and apple butter. After a lengthy wait, we hoped we'd at least have enough rolls at the table for each person to get one. We were disappointed and didn't get more for 15 minutes. Our server had too many tables and was unable to attend to us properly. If you don't have enough staff to serve your restaurant, I'd suggest roping sections off to make a smaller dining space, and offer higher wages.
My steak was perfect as usual. The food is so delicious, the service is great, my husband and I love to eat here! What more can I say? If you want a wonderful steak, look no further.
The food was just as we ordered. And our waiter was the best. We enjoyed our mid day lunch! Would recommend this steakhouse!
They have really good food. I was not happy with them on Saturday April 23. I placed a to go order at 6:10 I was told it would be a one hour wait. I said OK and the order was placed. at 7:30 I walk up to the to go window to see if I could pay and make sure That I was not forgotten. I finally got my order at 8:10 But they didn't give me the dozen of extra rolls that I had paid for. I needed a dozen for dinner today. They put more rolls in my bag. I got home there was a total o
I have had some questionable experiences here... leading me to wonder why my review is gone. But... the last two times I had a great experience with well cooked steaks and great service. One difference is that my new relationship status has me eating at the bar more often... so keep that in mind. Great food at a great value.
We had a nice lunch at the Roadhouse. We both got the steak offered on the lunch menu with a baked potato. The steak was cooked precisely as we ordered them. The baked potato was huge and done to perfection. Our streaks were tender, flavorful and the perfect size for lunch. The service was wonderful. Our server checked on us frequently and kept our tea glasses filled.
Here in Covington for a basketball tournament. My wife and I wanted poboys and gumbo but ended up going in Texas Roadhouse. Sad part we have a Texan roadhouse in our hometown but never been. The food and service heee was A+. My wife ordered the portobello mushroom chicken with broccoli and a loaded potato, I ordered the herb crusted chicken with corn and steak fries. Both dishes were flavorful and delicious. Only negative they loaded my wife margarita up with too much ice. Bobbie our server was excellent. She injured her back but still provided great service.
It is absolutely freezing at our table. They only have 12 servers on a Friday night. They usually have 18-20 servers on a Friday night. We were told the air conditioner was off. However the napkins on our table are blowing around.On a positive note, our server is very pleasant.
