I'm sorry to leave a two-star review, however both my wife and I got two different salads, both with shrimp as the protein source. What we were highly disappointed with was only 5 shrimp were on top of the salad. That was definitely not enough protein especially considering the salad was $15. Needless to say, because of the low protein, we were hungry an hour and a half later. If you go to this restaurant, I do not recommend the salad with shrimp on it. If you are the owner of this restaurant and reading this review, please consider increasing the amount of protein on your salads as the main point of the review is not the price but the amount of shrimp on the salad, 5 is merely not enough protein.
It was our first time dining in this location, we always go to the one in mandeville. The food is superb as always. The service was quick as well. We didn't wait too long for our food. We got the seafood Platter with soft shell crab and fried mushrooms. Everything was great!
This one of our favorite places especially for a to go order. We eat there in person about once a month and get takeout weekly. Great sandwiches, love the grilled chicken breast and the rusty bird with the pelican sauce is a must try. I usually can’t eat fried food because the grease gives me a stomach ach but here I can actually eat the fries and they are great (ask for them a touch crispy). If I could change one thing it would be more side items to pick from, I wish they had vegetables or baked potato, I wanted t try the potato salad but I am not a fan of bacon in my potato salad.The service is great. Kevin the manager is always welcoming, and he personally makes sure each order is correct. The servers are friendly and attentive. Cute patio outside and I always see people gathering there for a cocktail and an appetizer. Worth a visit for sure.

Great atmosphere and great prices, and the food is exceptionally great as well. Large portions that can be split. We had the chicken Parmission sandwich and roast beef poboy. Both were excellent ?. The onion rings were home made and battered like their seafood, tasted great. The pelican sauce was fantastic! I can't underestimate the quality of the food, it was superb. We will definitely be back and this place will be on our regular list as we come this way.
First time here. Had lunch here on November 6. You order at the bar, they give you a number and then they bring you the food. While ordering, my family sat at a table that was not cleaned from previous customer. After waiting a few minutes, we just cleaned it ourselves. Food was good, although I thought portions were a bit small. It seems other restaurants are falling into that same mode. Establishment and rest rooms were clean. I would go back.
Way Above Expectations!! We tried on a whim and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent! The staff were friendly and service as fast as it could be as it was crazy busy. They do a booming carry out and have outdoor and indoor dining all of which was busy when we were there! There is still adequate seating everywhere and the service is friendly despite customers being a bit impatient. The portions are very large and the seafood is fresh and delicious! The crabcakes are perfectly crispy on the outside and fresh and creamy on the inside with lots of crab. The shrimp and catfish are aslo great. They have healthy salad and grilled options as well. It is a great place to go for most any occasion. Very casual and welcoming. They have beer and wine and some incredible desserts that you really need to try - Dont let the fact they are prewrapped fool you!!!!! Great Fun little Place for Lunch or Dinner!!
I had the fried chicken and fries. They were cooked just right. Glad we stopped in. We will definitely stop again next time we’re in town.

My first time trying this place. I live in New Orleans and was in the area so we decided to stop here. My experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff was nice. Very welcoming. No one had attitudes. The atmosphere was amazing. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with onion rings. When I tell you the food came out so quick! In less than 10 minutes. When my food came out it was made wrong. They had avocados on it. I asked for Swiss cheese no tomatoes. They waiter was so nice about it. He even offers for me to keep that sandwich while my other one was made over. I just ended up waiting for the sandwich I ordered and took the other one home. And when I tell you that was the BEST roast beef sandwich I ever had! The meat just melts in your mouth. It was hot. The gravy was good. Most definitely will be visiting again.
