You are overcooking chicken. It was dry. Please stop overcooking chicken. 5 yrs ago you were perfect. Light golden crust. Now, dark brown crust, dry chicken.
I have been a fan of Popeyes for maybe 40 years but in the last few years it has been getting increasingly worse. Stores are often closed when they are supposed to be open, orders are routinely messed up, and stores are often out of regular menu items. Al Copeland would be rolling over in his grave if he saw what this company has become.The store here was clean, the service was prompt, but my order was wrong. I wasn't too upset because sadly it's behavior I have come to expect from Popeyes, and that is truly a shame.
There was a car line with I estimate 8 cars ahead of me...by the time I got around to the back of the building, 2 workers were outside taking a break. When I got to the window, the lady went into the little office and was joking around with a co-worker. I saw my food was placed by the window, but it took 4 1/2 minutes to get, after I saw them place it on the counter. I spent 37 minutes to get a spicy chicken sandwich and cole slaw.
It was a mad house , but those workers were getting that drive thru line knocked out as well as is inside ! We dined in my granddaughter and I and the food was fresh , the place was chaotic but I’m all for a busy place with great staff !
Always gets the food right on the first time and never has a long line during lunch. They're pretty fast
Popeyes chicken has that Louisiana signature taste if the south could turn into a meal it'll be popeyes chicken and red beans and rice..
This is one of the worst locations. The drive thru service is so slow. I've received a fish sandwich with a chicken breast on it instead of the fish. Then brought it back and didn't get the fish sandwich like I wanted they put a spicy chicken sandwich in my bag. I gave up at that point. The last time I went I was told it was 9:45pm and they were closing at 10pm so they couldn't take my order because they were out of chicken. I sat in the drive thru line for 30 minutes waiting to place my order. All the employees were going to their cars with boxes of chicken...just walking back and forth to their cars with the chicken they were out of. I will never go back truly a disappointment.
Food was fresh, service was great. I could tell the manager was stressing though because her employees were being silly instead of working.
Food was hot & fast and the lady with the freckles in the drive thru was really sweet
