This place has really impressed me! After getting fantastic, authentic ramen while out of state for work, I really thought I wouldn't get anything comparable down here in Covington.Megumi 21 has very, very good ramen. I love their marinated eggs so I got extra.The sushi here is also very good, and if you're watching carbs you can get any roll wrapped in cucumber instead of rice.Appetizers are great. I got some chili oil potstickers last time that I'd write home about.Usually a little crowded, but the ambience is still pretty good.Staff is always friendly!
The bayou roll was sooo good. Deff recommend, and it’s not too spicy. Pic attached was the Drew Brees roll, super yummy too. You get a lot of sushi and the presentation of the dishes were ?
If I was reviewing this place a week ago, I would have given it 4 stars. This was, until tonight, one of our weekly go to places. We have tried all different times and days and we always had good experience. The service is decent, I say decent because they have forgotten a few things before like a few appetizers we ordered that never came, a roll here and there or the side of spicy mayo but the staff has always been nice and pleasant so no big complaints. That is until tonight. It’s a Monday night so it was not super busy, they were closed yesterday so everything should be fresh to start the week, we ordered our usual, a cooked appetizer and 3 rolls to share. We have always liked the dancing shrimp roll which we got tonight. However tonight the roll was horrible, it was spoiled, as in not safe to eat, the shrimp crab combo was rotten. I am not sure if anyone else has ever had food poisoning, but you usually know exactly what caused it. The shrimp – crab mix that has an orange sauce was not good or safe for human consumption. It smelled off and it tasted way off, it was even worse the second time on the way out if you know what I mean.I told the server what happened she took the roll off the bill and took away the two rolls we had not eaten then proceeded to bring us a check for our appetizer and drinks. I was shocked, it was so nonchalant and they had the nerve to hand us a bill after they just gave us spoiled food and acted as if it was not an issue. The owner wasn’t there, there was no manager but the senior server – hostess came over and I told her what happened, she said she knew we ordered the same thing each time so we would know if it wasn’t right. I asked if the owner was there or at least a manager because I was worried about the other customers. She advised that she was in charge and the owner nor a manger was there. I emphasized to her that I needed to leave because I felt sick, and they needed to pull the shrimp-crab mix and check the other items in the roll because people might get sick.I called the other location on HWY22 to try and reach the owner, I spoke with a manager who simply stated the owner was not at that location so deal with the HWY21 location even though there was no manager there. I’m reporting this to the food poisoning website and won’t be going back. This was my favorite sushi spot but not anymore. They should have taken accountability. I hope they pulled the item and no one else gets sick.
Food was good enough but our order came in bits and pieces, my meal came 20 minutes before the rest of my party. Part of our order was never made, had to keep asking for water. When we got there only 4 other tables. I also had to bring my bill to the front in order to pay, didn't know how long it would take for our server to come back.

My go to place for Ramen and sushi! Been here several times and can only say good things about this place. Their Ramen is really good, my favorite is the tonkotsu. They serve you soup once you sit down and service is really fast. Huge menu for sushi, anything you can imagine they probably have it! We've tried their Drew Brees and Mandeville roll and it was amazing. Huge serving as well! Will surely come back!
Talk about yum!!!! Wow! Way more than we expected and everything tasted amazing! We also got the cowboy ramon and it was very good! Plus the cheesecake!!! Yum!!!

If I could give this 6 stars I would! Absolute best tonkotsu ramen I've ever eaten, and the sushi was incredible as well! The service was phenomenal and I can't wait to go back!
Very good. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened. Willing to wait, they opened the door and invited us in. Very sweet.The food was really good. Service even better. Since for the first 10 minutes we were the only customers. Lol. But seriously, the evening went very well. Definitely going back. We enjoyed the night
