Quaint little restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and the food was really good. I had the muffuletta and truffle fries, my husband had the Bostonian. We also tried the Hummingbird cake and the White and Dark chocolate brownie. Loved it all and will go back for more.
Such a cute place!!! Had the best time at drag lunch!!
We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at a drag brunch event at Lola's. The menu was limited to the event, but the food was amazing, The atmosphere fabulous, and the staff was tremendous. I have photos of the dishes but don't recall the names.
This place is amazing! My wife and I shared the brussel sprout appetizer, the Lola burger, and the crawfish risotto. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Will definitely come back the next time we're in the area.
Ordered a cake from their catering. Sent a picture and it was perfect and delicious. I ordered this cake from Alabama for my sister’s surprise party and I was so pleased. I highly recommend Lola’s for catering.
It’s always a good time at Lola’s! Food is delicious and a good size. My favorite dishes are hands down the red beans and rice, split pea hog ham soup and now their spicy fried chicken! The batter was flavored in true Louisiana style! The fries were delicious and the crumble on top should be sold by the jar. Delicious!
Lola is great for those who like good food. Fans of ordinary chain restaurant food need not apply.
Lola is a staple on the Northshore. My office is in the same building so I obviously walk over quite a bit. Their sandwiches are top notch gourmet style made fresh to order! The staff always delivers top notch service with a smile. Small town feel with big time taste!!! I’m pretty sure they have gained National recognition on a TV show or won a few local awards! Do yourself a favor and go there tomorrow!
So glad we finally decided to give this a try! It was above our expectations! The vibe is very laid back and the staff are super friendly. I was shocked at the size of the portions we received, most restaurants of this style give tinny portions, Lola loads your plate! Perfect date night spot or nice dinner with friends. 100% will be back.
Loved the special which was red beans and rice with cheesey corn bread. Also the employees were really nice too. It was super crowded but that was totally alright as there is plenty of space because one of their dining areas is a transformed old train car which is super cool. My only complaint was that it was pretty cold, granted, I chose to sit in the train car on an overcast cold day. So if you visit during winter and want to sit in the train car, bring a jacket. My son had the deviled eggs and loved it.My sister ordered the Lola salad with chicken. The salad was so big that I wish I had gotten pictures. Also, be sure to check out their tasty desserts; the brownie was phenomenal!
