It was clean and friendly staff. The food was very good
It's fine, but wish the meat was browned properly. Surprisingly not much flavor, but fine. The sneeze guard was smudgy which was a real turn off when choosing items for my burrito. Was kind of hoping it would be as good as Baja Fresh.
I have been here many times and the quality and cleanliness has gone down substantially. My most recent trip it was absolutely filthy and the inside was disgusting. It seemed like they just obviously were not even cleaning that day. Tables were dirty and filthy while the staff was just sitting behind the counter with one employee playing on their phone.
The illegal burrito is an experience that should not be passed by. It is truly beautiful. Good staff, clean restaurant and fast service, will come again!
Cold burritos here. Cold dry meat, cold beans, cold rice. Oddly the cold items (vegies, guac etc) are more like room temperature People working here look bored and really could careless.
I love this place. Full of great choices of meals and drinks to choose from. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Everyone is great at knowing and executing their job to make this, one of the best fast places to grab a quick bite of great food. Very clean and fun dining area. Thanks again Izzo's Illegal Burrito, for still being my favorite place to grab a quick burrito, on the North Shore! You guys ROCK! ?
It really should be “illegal” to serve old nasty food like this.Setting aside for a moment, that this place seems to be run by the lollipop guild.I’ve ordered pickup from here twice for dinner. Both times it has been dry, charred, overcooked, meat that tastes like it’s been under a heating lamp all day. Will not be ordering a third time.Garbage
ZERO STARS WASN’T AN OPTION!!!! I went to the Covington location this afternoon and ordered dinner for myself and my daughter. The food was terrible. The food looked as if it had sat out all day. It was no where close to fresh as they advertise and was ice cold. I ordered the steak nachos for my daughter. The steak was dripping with old grease and was cold. The cheese sauce was cold and clumpy. I ordered myself a burrito with steak and seasoned chicken. Both were dripping with grease and cold. The lettuce and cilantro were wilted from being out all day. The tomatoes, pico, corn, and all other toppings were dried out. Nothing was covered. The sour cream was watery when they squeezed it from the tube and added it to my burrito. The cheese dip was a clump in the container. We threw the entire meal in the trash and ate a sandwich at home. I spent over $35 plus a tip on something that was not edible and went to the trash. The girl who made our food and checked us out appeared to be high on something. She could hardly form a complete sentence to ask for our order. She also had open sores on her face and arms. I will NEVER again eat at, or order ANYTHING from this place again. You really need to send someone in to quality check this place. There was only 2 other patrons eating at this place when we went in. I can understand why now. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before I made the awful decision to stop here for dinner. I will not make that mistake again. I normally cook at home instead of fast food but we had errands to run tonight after work and school so it seemed like a good idea. BAD IDEA!!!! Lesson learned!!!! I should have listened to my instinct and left as soon as I looked at that food and as soon as the girl tried to take our order!
It's a hit or miss depending on the workers. Some seem like it's a struggle and are not really friendly. As if the customer is a burden. Secondly, they don't grill the taco shells like they're trained to do so. Making for a really waxy tasting taco. And lastly, it seems that retraining on how to roll a burrito is needed. Because several times you see the workers in a flux and frustrated when trying to roll a burrito that has most of the ingredients they offer to put in. So when you go to eat it, it's literally falling apart or not sealed up on the ends leaving most in the tin foil or worse, on your attire. ? sad, because they do have a few workers that go above and beyond and the food is great.
Every time I go here I have to wait for them to get to my order. Nothing but teenagers no manager I can see on duty everyone looks underage and there is no excitement in their job. They barely talk to you it's not a friendly place
