We have visited this establisment numerous times. We have had bad experience son 3 different occasions. The last visit will be the last for me...our waiter asked us to please move outside to finish our drinks. I believe he only asked us because the manager told him to. The restaurant was not busy...there were 10 open tables and no one was waiting to be seated. There are too many other Mexican restaurants in town to consistently go somewhere that has a manager that treats the guests so rudely.

Had lunch there today with my wife. Her food was seasoned much more than usual. When sent back, a gentleman came out and did not understand why food needed to be sent back since the recipe has been the same for years. This is untrue because my wife ate this same item duringt our last visit in January and it tasted nothing like today's and she enjoyed it very much. He agreed to substitute for another item on the menu but matter of factly refused to make a new plate with the changes requested which doesn't make sense if it was a recipe. Server was apologetic but he was not and if had been my wife would have reordered but she refused to My food tasted fine however we will not be back again.

First let me say their salsa is to hot in flavor to enjoy. Second, while dining we had a family emergency and we asked to please get the bill now due to an emergency and the waitress looked at us like we had 10 heads and walked away seeming angry. Third, the food has defiantly slipped in quality, my dish was over cooked and tasted a bit burnt. Needless to say, we will not be dinning there again.

Rude and overpriced. Went to lunch with my friend. Ordered a side of rice and beans ($3.50 each- so $7) and my friend ordered a plate of the flat nachos ($13).When the bill came I was charged $6 for the chips, salsa, and bean dip. My friend was not charged for the chips, salsa, or bean dip. The waitress said it was because I did not order an entree and it’s just how they do it. I asked if we could combine the bills to take the $6 charge off and we would just pay together. She said that the $6 charge would still remain because not everybody at the table ordered an entree. I was blown away.If I didn’t eat the chips, salsa, or bean dip, would still be charged because they were on the table? Two people can’t split an entree without having to pay $6 for the chips? We weren’t asked if we wanted the chips, salsa, or bean dip and we surely were not told that we would be charged had I not ordered an entree.I asked for the manager and got the $6 removed because... gross. I refuse to pay $20 for a side of beans and rice. Had I been made aware of the $6 charge I would have just ordered nachos, a taco, anything. The manager/owner was NASTY to us. Said he’s done this for 36 years and that it’s just how it is because “teenagers come in and eat and don’t pay. Nothing is free” while both of us had ordered food for lunch. I was bamboozled. Flustered. Flabbergasted if you will.He also said he has the best salsa in the state.... i cackled. The salsa is disgusting. We push it to the side and only eat the beans.Anyways, won’t be going back there ever again.

Staff is always so friendly. We normally sit at the bar and the bartender is so good. Very attentive always gets the order right and remembers what you want to drink. You glass never is empty.

Our waiter, Blake, was very busy. But he still made us a priority with a smile. Food was hot and good. Clean fun atmosphere. We don't get to go out to eat often, so I hate it when we do and it's not enjoyable. But last night, was definitely enjoyable.

Walked in asked for a Table of five. Place not busy and was told by a Mean Woman we had to wait in a specific area and sit where she said. I went to the Bar that had one person having a drink and was told, no we cannot go the bar to get a cocktail while waiting. Bar tender is too busy. So, we left.Food might be good, but I will never know.

The bean dip!!! I could have just had a big bowl with chips and been content. Everything was delicious and the service remarkable!

Love having quiet lunch at this restaurant. It has a quiet family atmosphere and the bean dip is the best I have ever encountered from here to EL Paso. The chicken tortilla soup is also delicious. Naturally the rest of the menu is also great even with these standouts.

I was very disappointed in the food. Beginning with the salsa, it was very dark and odd tasting. I had the tortilla soup which was very good but had the beef quesadilla which was awful. Presentation was nice and place was clean, but empty. I have eaten here for years and years. Even before they moved to the Covington location it used to be my favorite place to eat and frequented it often. Unfortunately, today was my last time. Also, the prices are now unreasonable for the quality of food.
