Di Martino's Restaurant in Covington is absolutely fantastic and their menu delicious. Great atmosphere for the whole family to eat there and very clean. I got Red Fish and my husband got the lasagna. Both were too die for and also got the eggplant sticks which were very del delicious ?Our waitress, 'Di' was informative, courteous and very professional. So, I recommend this restaurant, hands down!Only thing they need to change, the booster seat needs more cushion!!

Some solid dishes, but pretty average overall. Best muffuleta is at Bosco's off Hwy 59 south of I-12 if you want a muff. If you're looking for great Italian go to Del Porto. If you want Sicilian red gravy type Italian then Marcello's Covington or Impastato's in Mandeville.

Honestly... there's something about the way the building looks from the street that has kept me from trying DiMartino's til now. Big mistake! The inside decor is phenomenal and the food is superb. A friend had one of their famous muffs, but I went for the bacon Swiss burger. After adding a little mayo and ketchup to it... the first bite was magnificent. I actually had to take a closer look to find the source of all that flavor... and trust me, the 8 oz quality burger patty is the key. I thoroughly enjoyed this lunchtime indulgence and plan to return real soon.

We shared a roastbeef muffuletta. The bread was toasted, made it a lil crispy and it was delicious. Large order of fries was def. enough for two as well. Messy and yummy. We will be back to try the dine in experience.

From the moment we walked in this restaurant it was a bad experience. Waiter would not split our checks. And charged us 25% gratuity. I understand 20% but not 25. Will never go back

These people really take care of you! Food is fantastic. Eggplant Sticks appetizer will keep you coming back for more. Steak Tips and Butterfly Shrimp is delicious. Highly recommend.

The food was good. We ordered from the Menu online. We ordered a Shrimp Poboy and the Spaghetti with Meatballs. Then when we went pick it up it was $10.00 more than what we expected. They Said each item was $5.00 more than what's online. They just never updated it yet. Somebody's not doing their job.

Okay. First, before I begin... everything within the review is true and factual. I have pictures. This was my first visit, as well as my girlfriend's. It was her birthday, so I chose to bring her her here. We also invited another couple. We had high expectations of this place. My gf and I arrived approximately 10 minutes before our friends. The two of us were given a nice table to dine. Our waiter took our drink order, then came back a few minutes later to clarify our simple cocktail order. We both thought his question was strange...as if he must be new at waiting tables. No biggie. Our friends arrived a few minutes after our cocktails arrived. They too ordered cocktails. I ordered appetizers for our group that arrived fresh and hot. When we were brought small plates, (for the appetizers) my girlfriend discovered a old wet "Sweet n Low" packet stuck to the bottom of the plate! Obviously the plates were not properly cleaned. The weirdness was just beginning. The server passed food oddly. Instead of waking around the table to place plates, he reached over each of us...his arm coming close to my guest's faces. Again,, no biggie...right?We all had high hopes for what we expected to be awesome muffalletas.Everyone excluding me ordered the muffaltta combo that included a cup of Gumbo and potato salad. I ordered the lasagna that included a salad. Our meals arrived within a reasonable time. Again, the server reaching over the table; his extended arm inches away from my guest's faces. Without saying a word, we all gave that "look" to each other. My girlfriend offered me a taste of her Gumbo. It was really good! Apparently the muffalettas were not what what my guests expected. They all said they weren't anything to rave about...not bad. But not anything this place should be known for. I thought my lasagna was a far better choice than their choice. Then "it" happened. As we all continued to eat, and share good conversation...one of my guests sitting beside my girlfriend says to my girlfriend, "Look at your potato salad"! She looks down... and there it is!! Right beside the area where moments before she took a fork full of potato salad is a black curly hair. My girlfriend leans to me and whispers to me to inform me of the black curly hair in her food. (Yes, we took pictures.) I quietly waved for our waiter to come to us. He showed true "shock". He asks permission to remove the plate. Immediately, a woman arrives at our table, (who I assume is the manager...she didn't identify herself) She gave sincere apologies and nearly pleaded for them to replace the meal. My girlfriend was resistant, but then accepted the offer. By the time the new plate was returned to my girlfriend, we four were sort of grossed out. None of us could eat any more. The manager came back to ask if everything was okay, acceptable. We all responded with polite, but negative responses. The manager understood our sudden lack of appetite. The manager informed us the there would be no charge for our meals. But still be charged for our drinks. (We all had one drink each.) We obviously didn't finish our food, much less our drinks. Oh, we wouldn't be charged for the black curly hair either. Now, I get that were living in a post pandemic time, and good help may be hard to find. But this place isn't exactly a hole in the wall. This is supposed to be a "nice" place...not a white linen restaurant...but a nice place. What's sad is that it was my girlfriend's birthday. It was her plate that had the black curly hair! The waiter was obviously new at his job. The server was not trained on how to properly place plates. Yes, the manager didn't charge us for the meals. However, our dining experience was ruined. As I appreciate the manager understanding our feeling, she should have comp-ed the drinks too. And "maybe" offered an invitation for a meal in the future. I doubt we'll be back...ever. what a disappointment in what was supposed to be a good dining e

Food was great. Gumbo was good just needed more rice. Servers were friendly. Will be back

Dear IMATHESTORM,Ok, first I would like to say, as the general manager (not the on who took care of you) we do the absolute best we can everyday to provide an exceptional experience. It's not hard to find "good help" but it has been nearly impossible to find enough staff to cover shifts. Leading to us having to close some shifts because we simple don't have enough staff. Health inspections are a matter of public record and our high standards of cleanliness can be reviewed at any time. Our kitchen staff all wear hats, unfortunately, that does not 100% ensure this situation never occurs. When it does, it is embarrassing for us and we are sincerely sorry. We aren't a white linen restaurant, we do at times have to hire individuals with little to no experience which can lend itself to improper serving etiquette, but I can assure you everyone from the owner to the dishwasher come in everyday and work very hard to provide folks like you the best possible dining experience.
