The food's good! The prices are reasonable!!
Boiled seafood is spiced and cooked to perfection and very fresh and clean. Recently started eating lunch there and enjoying the daily specials which are extremely delicious! The portions are so much more than plentiful! The prices are more than fair! Small and quaint indoor seating. Clean facilities. The food though!!! Highly highly recommended!!!!
This was my first visit.. I wish I could say I liked the Poboy. I can't tell you the seafood used was fresh. It wasn't bad, just not close to fresh. I know all shrimp in the food service industry is "re-freshed", (thawed). But this shrimp was either thawed days ago, or thawed by using hot, or warm water. Thats a big no no. OR... the seafood was already fried, and sitting too long. The poboys were ready very fast. The counter lady was very nice. I hoped for a better sandwich. I wasn't totally disappointed. Yet, I dont think I'll be back for a while. So, in short...I'll say its, "meh!".
Ordered boiled crawfish & boiled shrimp. BOTH were overcooked & inedible. Called to let them know & was told by a male employee "you're the only one to complain today & you're full of sh*t". REALLY??? The only one to "complain today" ?? What does that tell you? PLUS, if it's their policy to have employees tell customers that "they're full of sh*t" why spend you're hard earned money there?? I'm out $21 PLUS, the cost of buying something else for dinner!!
Great experience! Wonderful staff lunch rush qas in progress and well under control.
Stopped by Columbia Seafood and bought a lunch special and 2 pounds of boiled shrimp for a Shrimp Diane dinner tonight. The lunch special was good. I peeled the shrimp which crumbled in my hands. It turned out to be very expensive cat food which was not fit for human consumption. Shame on Columbia Seafood!
Really well run. Love the menu and their food. Best! Live crawfish.
No beer and maybe room temp crawfish makes this less desirable than Lama' s inMandeville(crawfish always served hot in the dining room and cold beer!)
Had the bun shrimp dressed with a little sriracha and... Oh My Gawdd!.. just go get one already.Make sure you take a bread pudding with you too. I promise.. you won't be sorry.
I stopped there to buy fresh seafood to take back to Missouri. They were open on Sunday! They were very helpful, very kind, and very patient with me. They understood that I needed time to decide on the types of fish I wanted. I also appreciated their instructions on how to pack and travel with my precious cargo. They also offer dine-in and/or carry out food, which looked delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.
