6.12.22 11:50 AMGot there with my wife. I ordered a plate with a taco, cheese enchalada, beans, and rice. The food was all good. Even the salsa was good. Mexican food is pretty basic and never really amazing that I have had. But this was as good as any Mexican food I have had anywhere. The service was excellent. The place was fairly quiet and the ambiance was nice. I would go back.
Went in the evening of 25-April-2022. Food was ok. Very few beers on tap. Nacho order was very good and prices reasonable. Cleanliness was excellent. Asked a question to person who sat us and she responded very angrily, “I am not your server, I am not your server “. Eventually was waited on by Luke A who got the job done but appeared like he couldn’t wait for his shift to end. Menu items typical chain Mexican restaurant fare, nothing special with beer selection featuring beers like Bud Light, etc. Chain restaurant, nothing special. I am about as enthusiastic about this place as Luke A.

IMO it's hard to find good Mexican restaurants in this area. This is one of the good ones. Like their salsa, and the choriqueso is great. The refried beans aren't my favorite but, put a little of their salsa and yum it right up!
With out a doubt the best fajitas I've ever had in my life. The service was fantastic and the total experience was totally positive. My favorite restaurant now. Can't wait to get back and have another great experience. Love ❤ you Carreta's!
I've been multiple times and wasn't very impressed. The tortillas seem store bought and the meat isn't spiced very much.
Bit over priced for tex mex, but nothing to write home about. The staff was attentive and the food definitely seemed to be heated up in the microwave, but otherwise not too bad if you have a craving that needs filled.
Tasty food, good n friendly service
Good food that kicks up a notch because they add a little heat to the food. I prefer the more Tex-Mex spiciness over most Mexican restaurants, which are a little bland for me. The tamale was huge, but definitely needed the included sauce. Good taco and beef enchilada. And I was surprised the beans had some spice on them. The cheese dip is my favorite so far in the area; the right consistency, all cheese and just the right amount of heat. Fair service and good atmosphere.
We enjoyed our visit to Carreta's. The food and the service were excellent.
