Seriously, this is the BEST little restaurant in Covington. Family owned. It's a little crowded because it became SO POPULAR SO QUICKLY hahaha, but the food is AMAZING! Never ever disappointed. Highly recommend to anyone!

Shrimp overload on the po-boy and bun. I'm from there but my husband nor son had ever been to Bears. They LOVED it!!! Did NOT disappoint!! Will return when we are back in town.
The ABSOLUTE BEST! The staff was excellent. I was there last year, my mouth is watering NOW just thinking about it. When I come thru, this place is a MUST! I live 8 hours away. ☹️
Great place for a po boy.Came here first time and made mistake of getting a whole shrimp po boy one for myself. These things are huge! But also very tasty.Friendly staffOnly down side is the wait. Took about 20 minutes to get my food after ordering at 11am
The roast beef poboy was one of the best I've ever had! They do not hold back on the meat! Be hungry and be able to stay a while. It stays packed.
The best, and has been the best po-boys since I can remember. And now I'm 36. Roast beef geeze soon good. Ferdie also amazing.
This is THE place to get your PoBoy at. I had a fully dressed half a shrimp Sandwich ? and could bearly finish it. It was super yummy. Guess they are really known for their roast beef PoBoy, but I wasn't in the meat mood.Next time ;-)
Probably the best poboy ever, definitely the best poboys in st Tammany. If you get the chance, go. Just eat there or very close, because otherwise it will be a bit soggy. Along with that, get what you can eat, the sandwich doesn't save well. They take cash and card, just show up with a big appetite.
No better poboy anywhere, bar none! Their poboys are fresh, loaded with meat, seafood, etc and the bread is always fresh. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Don’t pass up a chance to have a poboy here. Among our many favorites are the roast beef, Freddie and hamburger!
