Nicer than the one in OLA but the band wasn't very good.
Funtimes and great atmosphere
Very expensive restaurant,me and my husband spend here over 300 dollars and I got food poisoning from raw tuna ,definitely not recommend,there is a lot of better restaurants around here
We had reservations at Desi Vegas. We were so excited, however there was an extremely drunk and loud woman in there. She proceeded to yell out the worst of the worst obscenities, bang on the table and at one point got up and pulled her dress up and showed everyone her backside. While the food and service were good, we did not have a good time and felt someone from the restaurant should have at least tried to quiet her down at the very least or throw her out and not keep bringing her shots! We brought another couple there and this was the most disturbing experience I've ever witnessed in a restaurant! We were excited to go there, as we love the Desi's downtown, and the couple we brought were neighbors of Desi, but none of us care to return as this woman ruined everyone in the restaurants meal that night. It was this past Thursday. I'm sure ots on camera. Someone please have the nerve to stop this sort of behavior when I dished out over $500 for a meal!
Louisiana sweet spot
Absolutely wonderful fun hangout!!! We are out of towners but met up with some friends. We came in on a Friday night. There was live music then a DJ after. The bartenders were friendly, Crystal one of the bartenders was fabulous you could tell she had been bartending for a while, her drinks came out perfect. The interior design was fun and classy. We all loved being there and had so much fun I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Après of Covington!!!!
great drinks especially "the smoke show" which should be offered on the bar side
apparently they've gotten a little too big for their britches. We showed up at 12:27 on a Saturday and I was wearing a nice button down shirt sleeve and some khaki shorts, but shorts aren't enough and we were rudely turned away by one of the 4-5(why that many door men are needed in Covington is a great question) door men. despite having been their many times before covid we won't be back. dude was extremely rude im his explanation of a non posted rule.

We ate at Desi Vegas tonight. There were 6 of us and we all ordered steak. Medium rare is what we all ordered 5 of the 6 were well done and sent back. The steaks came out again none of them were Medium rare all medium on the well side but we ate them. It seamed they tried to cook fast so the steak just tasted burnt.
