Jaci made our day so special great service and the food was great, try the mimosa sampler with your choice of 4 different juices so worth a visit just for the bar!
An amazing evening experience- sat outside and listened to relaxing music and played cornhole during our short wait for dinner. Ordered the top two items Joseph recommended - Fish Tacos and Firecracker Burger. He did a great job taking care of us and could not have given us better tips because the food was amazing! We’ll be back in the morning for breakfast!
Went for a birthday breakfast on 5/14th. There were 5 of us. Cinnamon rolls were not fresh, one of my sons order was missing an ingredient and my other son never got his order. I alerted a waiter that my son had never received his food and who our waitress was. Our waitress never came around after taking our order. She appeared 30 plus minutes later and handed us our bill saying my sons order that never came would be out in several minutes. We canceled order and told her we had waited long enough. Terrible service.
This was my first visit to Abita Roasting Co. in Covington. I was very pleased with the service we received from beginning to end. The hostess was very polite & informative about our wait time for a table. Our server was incredible (Blake)! Also, our food came out quickly. We probably waited 10 minutes for it to get to the table after we had ordered (maybe 15 minutes...maybe). My only complaint is the prices. We paid a total of $50 for 2 people to eat at lunch time (including the server's tip). For me, that's a little pricey. Overall though, we had a great visit to this restaurant! It was a very pleasant experience! I will definitely go back again & I will also highly recommend this place to others! Keep up the amazing work Abita Roasting Co.!
The food was pretty good, the service initially wasn't the best. We had a bigger party and we overheard the people putting the tables together making snide comments about how they didn't need to deal with that on a Sunday morning. The waitress we got made the experience better. Coffee was really good, otherwise not sure if I'd return.
The food is delicious when it is served correctly. However, the service here recently has been very disappointing. Lately, every time we get food from here something comes out blatantly wrong.The employees don’t seem to know what foods are on the menu and at our last visit the manager didn’t act like she was concerned with the issues brought to her attention. It’s hard to keep returning to an establishment when there are consistently problems every visit. Sincerely hoping there is an improvement in service here because we do enjoy the food when it is correct.
Awesome food, great deserts, really good coffee and a peaceful outdoor seating area.
Visited once and the city power went out... they comped our drinks, and I have been meaning to get back there... still haven't made it. But... did manage to order a firecracker burger which really hit the spot. The seasoned fries were a great touch... but I could hardly finish it all... honestly don't think I ate again that day. Great food here!
Found a way to make canned chicken cold, which is peculiar. I was starving but still couldn’t stomach the “salad”…lettuce cold canned chicken which costs me $15.
Great coffee, great atmosphere, will be back for food!!
