Food and cook very good. The lobby and bar is like an oven. Felt sorry for the bartender having to work in such an unbearable climate. They also need to clean the carpet...it is very sticky. Almost lost a sandal.
There were 6 in our party. We were there celebrating birthdays, anniversary and Father's day. Our waiter was very friendly. It took all of us a little longer to decide our meal choices and he was very patient. Appetizers were ordered and delivered in a timely manner. We finally decided on entrees and our chef came within a few minutes to start our meals. We did have to ask for our salads and soup. The show and food was very good. My disappointment was at the end of the cooking show, I was expecting the pineapple boat for our celebration but all we got was a single candle being lite. All in all everyone enjoyed the meal and would recommend this restaurant.
We went to Shoguns for my oldest sons birthday and we were more than happy with the service and food. It’s always a good experience there.
The food is great and drinks are amazing
We arrived at 5:43. We were seated at 6:47, and walked out at at 7:50 without having the cook arrive at the table. They failed to being a sushi appetizers until we complained after being at the table 45 mins later. Shortly after, we asked to be checked out and cancel everything. We were able to $30 for tea, sushi and broth and cancel the main order, but no manager attempted to verify the issue. Our issue? We were originally told it was a 20 min wait but while they do prioritize keeping reservations, they didn't make it clear we wouldn't have food prepared after we were seated. Our kid needs to go to bed tonight eventually. It is legitimate to make a business "reservation only" and say your beyond capacity. There are things to do, like keeping communication honest if you want to make people wait. Or check on them more then twice in an hour.
Went Saturday evening and tried calling to make a reservation. Phone would ring about 4 times and automated message saying they're closed would play. Went inside when we got there and people were lined up at the door. There was supposedly a 1 hr wait time. We stood at the front counter about 15 minutes and nobody ever showed up. Ended up leaving and went to a different hibachi just down the road. We were seated within 5 minutes and they actually answer their phone.
If I could rate 0 stars I would I had my birthday dinner last night and the worst mistake was going there. The chef was flipping his spatula and it fell down on the hot soup and it wasted all over my clothes and my niece clothes. Our thighs and legs were burning so bad. Went to talk to the manager about what happened to us he was very unprofessional to us. He was very racist to me and my friend. He embarrassed us and was very loud he refused to give me a incident report on the situation and walked off while we was still talking to him. I don’t recommend anyone eating at a restaurant like this being mistreated like what you say don’t matter.
If I could I would rate this restaurant a negative star…service was HOR RI BLE…We were there to celebrate my friend’s birthday….had to wait an hour just for the chef to enter the room because they were short staff (only 1 chef) as he began his presentation he tossed a spatula in the air and it fell & hit a hot bowl of soup that was just placed on the table & it spilled all over my friend and her niece…tried talking to the manager and he very unprofessional. He started to get loud after we asked for an incident report..cursing “o I’m so sick of this shit” …and making racial slurs saying “you people all always looking for a way to get something free” and walked off saying “I’m through with these people” instead of being “professional” about the situation. (Long story short) Does anyone know who my friend can talk to, to make a complaint because this is totally unacceptable.
20 STAR SERVICE & Most delicious food on the planet. My Fav place to dine out. Highly recommend....
Fun atmosphere, amazing food, not too long of a wait.
