During our three-night stay (May 2022) at the Horseshoe , we ventured over to Margaritaville and enjoyed two meals at The Riverview. Prices were high but you expect that inside a casino hotel. Food was good, but very rich. Portions were large and generous. We had the meatloaf and the chicken fettuccine alfredo. Wonderfully delicious, but very, very rich. The pepperoni pizza was very good. If you get the pizza be sure and read the menu thoroughly. The pepperoni pizza is listed twice in two different places on the menu and the prices are different! The burger was disappointing and bland-tasting. I've had better burgers at WhatABurger and Chili's, but the fries were good. Riverview seemed to be the only restaurant open at Margaritaville when we visited (except for the over-priced snack bar). Servers were really good! Fast, pleasant, and accurate. Seating was quick. Ordered a steak medium well and it was prepared marvelously. My mashed potatoes and gravy were out of this world and the vegetables were heavenly. I've never had food from the south never been to Louisiana and they made it the best experience I could ever have. Even the waitress was extremely sweet. I am anxiously awaiting the day I have money to go back again because that'll be the first choice to go eat. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I had a blast and was all smiles. Where we were seated was also very beautiful. I could turn around and look out the window and see the most beautiful scenery. Color changing lights and the water and all the plants. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fancy treat. It is a little pricey but you definitely get your money out of it.
Nice atmosphere and waitress. But they need to have "sideways" booths, with two benches, along the window. The well padded bench along the window was more comfortable so my husband and I both had to sit facing the single elderly lady at the table across from us. My Cajun Chicken Pasta was delicious ?, but the batter on my husband's cod fish was too thick and so greasy that he peeled it off. (I didn't think to take a picture for y'all to see.) We will come back but he will definitely order something different.
The food was great. The pizza that I got was really good. My group also had the brisket cheese fries and a Philadelphia roll which is similar to a meat pie. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Overall, I was very happy with this place.

This restaurant is inside a smoking casino fyi. The view was nice. The server was very nice, but they must have been very busy as it took 1.5 hrs for her to bring our drinks. We were sitting at our table for almost an hour before they even brought water. We had the manager come by a couple times to reassure us that our waitress would be there shortly, but he didn't even offer to get us water, I had to ask for it. They did not have any vegetarian options, so I got fries and a side salad. There was seriously more cheddar cheese on the side salad than lettuce. But the fries were good. Everyone else's food looked good. We didn't get our food until about 2 hrs after we sat down. Maybe this is a southern thing? It wouldn't have been as bad if they actually served us water refills, or were up on getting us another drink, etc. We had to remind them a couple times that we had a wedding that we had to get out for. They didn't comp anything, so maybe a 2 hr wait for food is a common thing here? If you aren't in a rush and are at this casino, this place is a fine place to eat. But I would not recommend it otherwise. I didn't read the details of the reviews when we chose it to meet people there, and definitely regretted it but we're too far invested as we were trying to rush before a wedding.
The food was not great. My mom had the lasagna she told me it was horrible.. I had the patty melt I was not impressed. What was worse was the staff ignored us then when they did decide to help us they gave my the wrong drink. I'm trying to not sound like a Karen. But even the bread pudding was not good only the ice cream was good. They are overpriced for such horrible food and staff.
Horrible service and food will never go there again . The food tasted off and the staff completely ignored us after we complained about the food

Great service, clean, friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing. Definitely plenty of food for the price. Highly recommend.
