First time trying Monjunis and I was a bit disappointed. The food lack seasoning. The pasta sauce is heavily sweet. It felt like I could make something way better at home, but I gotten recommended by this restaurant. I had high hopes for the food, since they also have great reviews. The service was amazing, so I can’t complain about that. Overall, I would like to give Monjunis another try.

Fast and friendly . Food is great.a little crowded but what do you expect when the food is good.try the shrimp toast you will not regret it.

This place is amazing. The food is so good and the waitress was very helpful as well. I just wish it was one in my town.

Muffuletta was amazing. Pasta red sauce too sweet for my taste but the Meatballs were very good. I ordered it to go and it was ready when I got there.

I like this place just fine. And only issue is with their sauce. To me the sauce is a little sweet. I prefer a more robust and garlicky sauce.

I ordered the two meatball spaghetti dish. The order was reasonably-priced and plentiful. The meatballs were great. However, the sauce was surprisingly sweet. This is something new to me. I always thought that the spaghetti sauce would have more of a tomato taste. I will definitely return and try the crawfish fettuccine and lasagna. M. Poole [email protected]

Consistently great food at amazingly affordable prices -- a huge sandwich, drinks, and two takeout orders for under $40 before tip. Our original muffuletta is always a safe choice, but you'd better be hungry. Service this trip was uninspired compared to usual, but okay. This is really a great place for salads, pasta, and sandwiches, and the Beatles in the background provide a great casual atmosphere. Superior value.

This is my daughters favorite restaurant.... She loves the spaghetti sauce (you can purchase it at brookshire's grocery for an at home experience as well.) My husband and I think it's ok.

Wow, been going to Monjunnis for 25 years from the original location on Louisiana Avenue in Shreveport to currently the address in Baton Rouge Louisiana weekly. I work in Baton Rouge but come home on the weekends to Bossier City. Well, the Bossier City address will not absolutely give you a bag of their famous bread with sauce that is a staple for Monjunis when you are doing takeout. They give you three pieces of bread per meal and no sauce! They were adamant about it! The woman that worked there stated she had worked there for years and years since 1991 and that’s how or is. The bread as an appetizer and part of the meal is why I ordered from there! That’s like the chips and salsa of Mexican place! Furthermore, the one meatball in the spaghetti was about the size of a golf ball and not a very large baseball size meatballs that used to be served! It used to be large and it was noticed amongst the spaghetti, well tonight we had to find it! Will not go there again and may not even go to the location in Baton Rouge or Louisiana again because they are associated. I make my own sauce at home since I know the combo and I’ll get over it but they won’t get my dollars…………xoxo

Great local place for a family dinner. Staff was always attentive and pleasant and the food is amazing. Plus they have the biggest meatballs around.
