Me and my husband have been going here for 9 years! Had our reception here for our wedding! We just had the worst experience EVER!!! We had a party of 7 and 3 were children. We waited 15 minutes before the waitress finally took our order. (she could not multitask) our bill was $345 with a $50 tip added as gratuity!!! I will NOT be back!!!!
Quick seating and friendly service. The portions of the sushi rolls are generous and so are the hibachi meals. I had cucumber eel and avocado roll as well as spicy salmon. The eel was good but the salmon was a little fishy. My family ordered spicy California and spicy tuna. They enjoyed the California roll, but we all tasted the tuna and thought the use of sesame oil did not harmonize well with the tuna. There also seemed to be a sweet ingredient that didn't work either. I tasted the steak and shrimp hibachi and it needed seasoning but the mustard, ginger, and teriyaki sauces paired well with the meat, veggies, and rice.
I'm not a big fan of hibachi and avoid it when I can. So I only ate sushi, all my table mates had hibachi. My squid salad and sushi roll (Firecracker) was very good. I didn't hear any complaints from anyone else that had chicken, steak, and shrimp dinners. They all received large portions and steak eaters said steak was cooked to their requested doneness. Personally, I thought the entertainment value was nil, but that's just me. I'll stick with a straightforward sushi establishment.
food was edible but for $75 for 2 people I expect a lot better food and service.
Friday evening 1/21/2022. Been here many times before. Really gone down hill. Cost me $96.00 and some change for two to eat. The food was TERRIBLE at best. The vegetable have changed and as hard as rocks !!! The only part that was any good was the fried rice. Even the little girl waitress was rude!!! NEVER TO GO BACK AGAIN !!!!
We went to celebrate my sister's graduation from nursing. They were able to accommodate a party of 20 around 2 joined hibachi grills (with a reservation) one server attended to our party and 2 chefs cooked. They did an amazing job. Everything was clean and efficient. High chairs were available for 2 smaller children. Sushi came out fresh and beautifully presented. We had a blast celebrating with her.
Placed a carry out order. Several items were missing. When I called to ask them to fix it, I was told I would get a call back from the manger. After waiting a significant amount of time for a call back, I called the restaurant again heard the manager in the background stating “We are not going to fix that, that is dumb”. Some of the most pathetic management and service I have ever seen. Give your service to Shogun instead.
Fabulous food! I brought home alot of leftovers. Chef was most entertaining.
The service was horrible. My party wanted medium well steak and it was well done. I complained to the manager on duty about it and he said "I doubt it." It was about 25 family members in my party and we were highly disappointed in the food and the service. They gave us soup and said that were supposed to drink the soup out of the cup and she didn't have many spoons to give us. Can you imagine....a restaurant without enough spoons for 25 people......smh....1st time#horrible experience.
