Giving them 1 star is nice because I can't comment without giving a star. Where to begin the hostess was sweet, our waitress cold, and difficult. We came in from out of town and the service was horrible. Mind you it was our table group of 8 and another table behind us group of 8. That's it no one at the bar or any other tables. Came in right when they opened. The table that had 8 had THREE SERVERS. We had one server whose new and gave us attitude because the manager and cook said daily menu items are not available vs Monday thru Friday are available on Saturdays and tried to make us pay more!!! Waited 20mins just for water mind you we ordered food and the chips and dip that's complimentary took as long. Finally the chips and tomato sauce comes out it was soooo sweet and if you wanted green salsa its $1.89 more. Went to the restroom that's clean right by it is a person making tortillas without gloves on and kept touching her lashes!!! The hostess that were assisting the table behind us ignored the entire time and won't help our waitress and laughed. Horrible experience and the management doesn't help.

Plates on the tables had dried food on them, when we asked for more, they never brought any. We got our questions before we had our chips or drinks, my food wasn't made right, & the service was the worst I've had in a long time. Couldn't get her to pick up our appetizer plates or anything so we could even put our plates on our table.

We had a party of 11 for a birthday dinner. There were 3 tables occupied when we got there and only 1-2 more people came in while we were there. It took over an hour and 15 minutes for the first plate to come out. 20 minutes later the next plate came out. And the last plate came out after several people were done eating. A total of 5 people cancelled their orders because of the ridiculous times. Also a big cockroach was spotted running around the dining room. I can only assume it was looking for chip crumbs on the floor. The manager didn't seem to care and was standoffish. All that for a $90 bill for our group of 4 and sub par tasting food.

It's hard to find a decent restaurant in this town, especially if you don't like catfish or crayfish. This was a cute little Mexican restaurant. Service was good and food was pretty good too. Lunch specials until 5 so it was a good value too. There was a lot of decor on the walls etc. and it all appeared very dusty, so the place could use a good spring cleaning.

We got to this about 6pm on a SUNDAY, they weren't busy. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be greeted or seated. We where seated in the corner by the kitchen. We waited about 5 minutes before someone finally stopped and brought us menus and then took our drink order. That was the only good thing that happened. We waited for about 30 minutes and never had anyone stop again. We saw 4 or 5 different servers walk past us, each one of them looked directly at us but didn't bother to stop. However another table that came in directly behind us, was served (drinks and orders taken) before we walked out due to the poor service. After that 30 minutes we walked out...

I ate the worst , city food , rice from the day before , hot and hard , I won't come back with a Mexican flavor nothing has terrible service

Met a friend for lunch. We both had the taco salad thingy. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything extra special either -- spicy without being terribly flavorful. The salsa was a bit in the watery side and the chips were kinda greasy. Here's the thing: to some people, that's exactly what you want from a Mexican restaurant. So my three star rate could be a five star, depending on taste. My advice: go in, sit down, and order something that looks good to you. Chili V's is def worth that. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast, friendly, and accurate. You could do a lot worse than to give it a try!

This is without a doubt the best Mexican food in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The brisket enchiladas were absolutely amazing. They have this Chipolte Wine sauce that they put on them, that is so unique and tasty. The chips and Salsa were very fresh and delicious. Our server Javier was an absolute professional and so attentive. The GM Sergio even came and chatted with us for a bit. He was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Oh yeah and the tamales were some of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be a regular here at Chimi's from now on. Muchos Gracias!!!

Great and friendly Mexican food place. I can see many neighborhood locals and travelers stop by for an excellent meal. My server was very sweet. And really enjoyed the meal.

Great atmosphere, the staff was great. The GM came and chatted with us, very friendly. The food was good too!
