We tried this place out last night and were pleasantly suprised. We both skipped the special, which was A BIG Chicken Fried Steak Dinner. Just way too much for either one of us so, we ordered the breakfast chicken fried steak instead with brown gravy, eggs and potatos. I had home fries and Kathy had hash browns. Even this smaller version was more than enough to eat.Other reviews have said the food was bland but, in MY opinion, it just simple, basic home cooked seasoning without the over powering fire and spice that you find in many places today. If you want the extra fire and spice, ask for it, I bet they can fix you up. We could taste the actual food and Everything was cooked just right. The staff was real friendly and welcoming.Plenty to eat, great service and food.
Absolutely ? awesome restaurant!! Our waitress, Kathy, was very attentive and friendly; she was top knotch! Food was great/delicious. Will definitely be back many times?????
Great Cafe, staff is super friendly. I love the food, awesome home cooked comfort meals for a reasonable price!
Stopped by Cafe USA and glad we did. Pork chops and eggs, steak and eggs and grilled biscuits were heavenly. Apple pie was delicious. Super friendly staff, too. Cafe USA is certainly a Bossier City gem.
The breakfast food was very bland and you did not get a lot for what you paid. The food looked and tasted like they bought the cheapest ingredients they could find, who ever made our omelets had no idea how to make a good omelet. My family and I all left still hungry 45 dollars later. The restaurant it's is a little run down. Our food came on chiped and broken plates and the cups that our kids juice was poured in was filthy, some type of sticky clumpy film around the rim of the cup. The staff was very friendly and enviting, and if the owner fixes these problems and puts more care into the quality of the food and up keep of the dinner then this place has the potential to be a good spot to eat.
First of all, amazing customer service! We went during lunch time but craved breakfast! I ordered a chocolate chip pancake with sausage and Cajun fries. The food wasn’t all too great but the environment itself was nice! The only thing I would say is, don’t overcook the meals. Most of what I ate was pretty dry without much flavor. I would likely come back to try out their lunch menu instead!
The hamburger I got was very good. They never freeze the meat. Friendly atmosphere. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is bc of the womens bathroom sink. It is atrocious! Are sinks really that expensive that you can't put a new one in? It is straight up GROSS!
The food was good. The biscuits and gravy weren't very hot, and the bathrooms were dirty, but the waitress was really nice and the service was great
Good normal diner! Solid food, good decor, awesome staff.Clean tasting water!!!! Really liked that I could see into the kitchen. Good prices for the service. Good coffee. Honestly it's been a struggle to find a good diner and this beats out the competition. All the other diners are either over priced, dirty or have bad food. This places rocks! Really love the staff.I personally think they need to upgrade a few little things and have a polish up. I also suggest looking into like an express conventional toaster oven like they have at dunkin or Starbucks for heating up things like pastries and waffles. Microwaves make food taste strange and bread harden. Also just kind of wish they had more sweetener and creamer optiona for coffee, but it tasted great black-so could i really ask for more? Lol
showed up 10:45 am sat,, place is 60% full,, maybe.. Waited 15 min to get seated-- plenty of open tables--just no one to seat. Sat there another 10 min-- got drink order-- screwed it up-- gave our drink to another table and THEN GAVE US THE DRINK THEY TASTED!!!!!! left the place. Havent been there in over 5 years and will never go back. Putting up patriotic signs and flags all over doesnt make you a good restraunt,, like most is south Bossier-- if they were any where else,, would go out of business. By the way-- they never said a word about why we left...
