We waited for a few extra minutes for someone to seat us before the church crowd arrived on a Sunday. A young man holding up his pants and wearing a hoodie motioned for us to follow him and then tapped on the table he wanted us to sit at… never saying a word??♀️. The table itself was a little sticky. Our waiter was ok. He seemed a little overwhelmed and wasn’t very personable. The food was decent. My soup appetizer was served the same time as my food. I had the French onion soup. It was slightly warm and filled only half way. I actually only come for the French onion soup and the won ton tacos. My husband had the bourbon steak and thought it was good. Overall something isn’t right about this particular Applebees.
If you are in the Shreveport Bossier area go anywhere else for dinner besides this filthy place. Our waitress seated us and never came back. Another waitress served our food because ours was nowhere to be found. After our food dissatisfaction we also sat for 45 minutes for our bill to leave. Our food was nothing like the standard of the one in Monroe. Of all the waitresses we got the one that liked her job the least. Total price a little over 60 dollars. I gave her, the waitress that finally came out to work again, a bill and she said she had no change. Really?! I just need less than 40 dollars back. I think she realized I knew she had failed us as a waitress and she wasn't getting a tip. YEAH THIS WAS A LONG POST BUT I WANT TO SAVE ALL DINERS SOME TIME MONEY AND POOR SERVICE.
Made a visit to AppleBee's with my wife and three teenage boys. We experienced a short wait for a table. Once seated we made our drink order. It cam quick. We then ordered 2 of the 2 for $25 specials and I order an 8oz steak with shrimp with mashed potatoes and brocolli. The 2 appetizers came within 10 minutes. I ordered a ceasar salad as did my wife. They arrived minutes after the appetizer. My wife and I ordered the daily $3.00 drink specials, but had a short wait for them. The food was great. The food was brought out in a timely manner. The mgr paid a visit to everyone seated in the establishment. He wanted to make sure we were all attended to. We were thanked for coming and left when we were finished.Parking: Parking was ample. I parked in a needed handicapped spot. I was able to park in a shaded area.
So where to start?! Lets see you have ants crawling around on the table (which is sticky as all get out), found a small fly in my beer, chicken tortilla soup looked like mush. The other big dish had some flavor but overall just bland. Like so many places this place definitely has gone down since the shutdown and reopenings
There wasn't much customers,but it was a quiet environment and it gave me a chance to spend more time with my daughter.
I expect really good things from years of going to Applebee's... This particular location needs to re-train their staff. It took almost an hour to get served. Food was good but our server got the order wrong then never checked on us or refilled drinks. Sad stuff.
I didn't have an awful customer experience or bad tasting food, it was just not all that. I'd much prefer Chili's. Overall it's ok, not my first choice.
I'm used to always having a great experience with Applebee's. It's a good atmosphere and the family loves the dishes. Service was ok, but the dishes were a little disappointing this time. It wasn't nearly what I've come to expect from the restaurant, but I'm faithful that it was just a one time experience
I have eaten at Applebees in several states and this is the worst meal I’ve ever had someone to sit in front of me!! Never received my steak sauce my server said that she asked someone else to take it to me? Steak came out RAW still bleeding sent back to grill more instead they microwave the thing and then noticed a long Black hair in the mashed potatoes, and never received the rest of the order as per the menu left off the broccoli completely! Still charging for the extras like the tea which was not drunken only two sips out of the glass!! I definitely will be sending feedback as the ticket says that they value feedback!!!!! I WILL be doing it!! Like now
The food was good and hot we didn't have to wait long and the service was great
