This is the worst restaurant and food in Baton Rouge for sure! The chicken always has a burnt taste the salsa taste like tomato juice….and it’s very overpriced for under mediocre food! Place is for drinking only in my eyes!!!
If I could give them zero stars I would. Today was my 1st and last time dining there. My tacos were good just as the tacos I have had at other taco places. Nothing to brag about. However, a customer had her puppy at the daiquiri bar, playing with it, and passing it to several people to play with. We have a precious little emotional support puppy and we take her places with us.However, she has boundaries and I respect others may not appreciate non support animals where they are dining. MY PROBLEM IS one of the ladies that add the toppings to the tacos, burritos, etc., came from behind the counter, started rubbing, playing, and holding the puppy, and then went back behind the counter, did not wash her hands, and prepared another costumer’s burrito order. Then, helped one of her co workers restock supplies and was touching several things and areas in the kitchen. Another worker, a young man, came from outside, went behind the counter, started refilling the ice machine or putting ice in a bucket to pour over something (at this time I was gathering my stuff, to leave this place) and never washed his hands. The interior isn’t pleasing to me and I couldn’t enjoy my meal, because another customer was dining out with his son that appeared to be 9 or 10 years old. The little boy and another customer started playing basketball inside where we were dining and almost hit me with the basketball. I threw the rest (majority of my food away) and left. This Zippy’s lacks good and safe management! I’m glad I dined there, before inviting friends and family to dine there with me.
Amazing. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. A little pricy but it’s all worth it in my opinion. Get cute and go here. It’s a great experience

Always a good choice! Had the lunch taco survival with 2 pork tacos. It did not disappoint. Great atmosphere sitting outside with a nice breeze.

What a great, fun, cool and eclectic place. Fast casual counter-service with plenty of seating and TVs for game day.Mathew and Lewis are great host and make a mean Margarita ??Love the bar with both cocktails on the rocks or frozen.Ordered nachos with a variety of toppings to choose from… very good.New favorite neighborhood hangout! We will be back.
Love tacos so I stopped on the way bank from picking up supplies to grab a couple and I was not disappointed. Great flavor profile, generous portions and tasty.
Good food and atmosphere, but holy cow - the smoke from the patio area. They need a fan that blows the smoke back out there.
