i have a large spot in my heart for Tony's Seafood,my friends and I would go get crawfish and plate lunches all the time when we were students at Southern University and A &M College,the flavor on their crawfish is still amazing, there's over 30 different items on their deli menu, there's also a large selection of prepackaged foods in their frozen food section available to buy
I travel for a living and anytime I am in BR , Tony's is a must, trying to eat a bit healthier these days and God knows that ain't easy in LA, but I got some shrimp, crawfish and smoked chicken for a low carb lunch, ate it at the capitol under a liveoak. Let me tell ya the smoked chicken is incredible, seasoned to the bone, juicy and the rub is amazing. Got a dope ? souvenir trucker hat as well!
So this is a market not a restaurant. You get your food and go. Food here is great. You can get fresh seafood but I always go for the hot food. Great options on the line and everything is always seasoned so well. I recommend you get the Fried Catfish with Etouffee. There hush puppies are delicious as well.
One of our favorite things about traveling is finding a great place to eat along the way. This is one of them! If you come into the area make sure you stop in and get some food! We had fried catfish, fried shrimp, fried crawfish, fried crab claws, it all comes with fries and coleslaw and one piece of boudin. There food was so so good! If we come through again we will go again!

Including their famous crawfish pies, and boudin balls.The hot plate line is where is at!! I’ve never had anything from there in the 12-13 years I’ve been visiting there that was ever disappointing! It was on a Sunday morning after church so yes it was quite busy everyone trying to get fresh catfish or whatever they wanted and getting in front of you because they are too impatient to wait until you are done with ordering. I had a great person that service me with the product of my choice and I do highly recommend Tony's for any type of seafood you wish for as well as hot plate lunches.
