Excellent sushi & service! It’s well priced & top quality. On Father’s Day we ordered late & they still kindly made 10 rolls for us! They were amazing & we will be ordering solely from here from now on.Steven & Dara

The food is good and I come here regularly, mostly for lunch. When I dine alone I don't sit on the hibachi side but order from the hibachi. However, today my server informed me that I cannot order from the hibachi if I don't sit at the hibachi, even though this is my norm. Tokyo Cafe, you just lost a regular customer. From now on I'll try your competitor around the corner.

I always order chicken hibachi to go and every other time I order the chicken is so tough, dry, and old, to the point where it’s not even edible anymore. Sometimes it is fresh and very delicious which is the only reason why I kept coming back, but the least few times I ordered it was just absolutely disgusting. The last straw was when I ordered right when they opened up so I can get fresh chicken but when I got my plates the chicken was obviously sitting in a warmer for hours then reheated. That made it pretty obvious that it was from the day before, which is ridiculous considering the price they charge.

My first experience was a little better than the second. I was brought tea with lemon. The lemon wedge had green mold on the peal part. Food was great other wise.

Nice hibachi place. Nice food and great drinks.

My family and I were passing through Baton Rouge on our way through and needed a place to grab some dinner to take at the hotel. We ordered 4 dinner portions which equates to almost $90 at this restaurant. Besides the fact that this is an absurd amount of money for food. We put the bags in our car, holding them the entire way, and got to our hotel 5 minutes later. By this time, due to terrible packing, the soup inside of each bag had unknowingly exploded all over all the inside contents of every single bag of food, not just one. Upon getting into our hotel room we spent 15-20 minutes trying to salvage what we could while I called to talk with the manager, who insisted that I somehow manage to bring all of this hot mess food back to get a refund. Keep in mind the bag bottoms had already fallen apart. Terrible, absolutely terrible management, Cheaply made food, and certainly one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. Do not waste your time or money at this place, it’s not worth your patronage. Take your family and hard earned money elsewhere.

My Lunch roll was good and enjoyed the miso soup that is served with it. Will definitely go back.

Love this place. They are always so nice and the sushi is awesome! We have never had a bad experience here and have been coming here since our kids were babies. The owners/management are always there and they make us feel welcome every single visit.

The steak on top of the cowboy roll was extremely thin and burnt. Not like it used to be. The LA roll had old cooked oysters. Not sure what has happened to the restaurant.

Great service and delicious food don't miss coming here. ? Michelle was fast and so nice, wish everyone had her as their server! Also sashimi was excellent and delicious ?
