Delicious, been back quite a few times! I love their Katsu, spicy chicken and the Maui Burger! Keep forgetting to take pictures, because we are just ready to eat! Good portions. The bowl is perfect for me, and the platter is large enough for 2 I think.
Good prices, but just overall sufficient food. The pork katsu was very tasty and juicy, but everything else I ordered kind of let me down. The chicken was borderline dry and I had to use the katsu sauce to make it better. The steamed vegetables (which was just broccoli with one slice of carrot) was literally just steamed with no seasoning, and then the macaroni salad was a disappointment. I was looking forward to that the most, but it was watery and plain.Overall, just come for the katsu.
Food was ok. First the not so good. The bbq chicken didn't have much flavor and the macaroni was kinda bland too. Serving size for chicken was small. The good. Best pork katsu I've had and the rice was perfect. The chicken and macaroni are my favorites at hawaiian spots though.
I love this place. Small and quiet with great tasting food. Simple menu and run by the owner's. The spicy chicken wrap is my favorite. The waffle fries are nice touch.
I got the two meat platter with kalbi & spicy chicken and the steamed rice & mac salad as sides. Everything was AMAZING and both meats were perfectly seasoned and tender. Although this will be my favorite, I want to try other things on the menu! Great food and great service!
Amazing food, staff is so friendly! I recommend the bulgogi fries and the burgers are both amazing!!!
Got the 2-meat platter with short rib and katsu. It was so delicious! The macaroni salad flavor didn't really match with the sweetness of the 2 meats, but it was still good! No complaints about the platter, it was satisfying.The bulgogi fries on the hand, were absolutely atrocious, I'm not sure if I want to take 1 or 2 stars off for it.It was unsalted fries with a bit of bulgogi and cheese slapped on top... And then microwaved so that the cheese melts. That's it. I would've expected better for $7. Just sharp cheddar did not taste good on top of the bulgogi.
Decent little Hawaiian food place, definitely check it out for something different.
