Amazing food and great service!! 10/10 recommend
My husband and I love this place! We stop here every time we're passing through Baton Rouge. The food is awesome and authentic. He loves the po-boys, I however usually pine over the menu, going back and forth between all the delicious creole creations. This is definitely a stop you should make.
The Chimes East on Coursey Blvd is a great spot for reasonable food options. Based on my past experiences, the has always been fresh and hot upon arrival to the table. Even with large parties, the food was fresh and hot. The servers are usually really good, and they were attentive, even if they had multiple tables during my visit. The mixed drinks are okay (hence the four stars), but they tend to add more mixers than anything. The atmosphere is an inviting one, but expect a wait to be seated as I’ve always had to wait prior to being seated. There are times I waited over an hour, but the food was good. I would recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for some Louisiana cuisine. They offer almost everything you would expect in a Louisiana home.
Great Hostess(Christina) Great Food & Great Atmosphere ?
Great atmosphere and delicious food!
This place never disappoint me. The food is always fresh and the price is very reasonable. My waitress was very friendly and she really took care of me and my coworkers. I definitely would recommend this place if you want food with a good flavor.
The food we got was very good and our server was awesome. It was busy but she was very attentive. Been here before and will be back
We decided yesterday it would be our last time to visit Chimes. Their hostesses are the RUDEST in town. Always, always RUDE. Even on the phone. So rude that your jaw drops every time. We get shocked at their rudeness..and then convince ourselves to not eat there again. Then we go break down and go eat there again...and bam! Same rudeness from their hostesses. It's really unbelievable. Yesterday after being treated so rudely on the phone to a simple question. To the point it was down right mind boggling - our group said...'no thanks...we will start going somewhere else where they at least have more respect for the people who come to eat there'. Manager...you need to fix this!
My family and I visited Chimes on 03/26-22 No we didn’t have a reservation be we were told that they could set 25 of us we waited for 3 hours to be seated when we entered and tried to be seated we didn’t get a waitress or waiter the young man came a told us we can’t sever y’all because there’s 12 people at this table not only would you have made your money in just serving us but you would have made more in gratuity needless to say we were very disappointed because it was some of us first time visiting the restaurant and probably want be back you should teach your staff to be kind and consider people and there feeling.
The food was very good. Went last min right before closing and the food still came out hot. The waiter gave great service was always there when we needed him. Will definitely be back at an earlier time and to try something different
