So I went to this place on Thursday with a craving for some red beans and rice. I already checked them out on yelp and reviewed the menu before coming and when I get there the cashier told me “We out of red beans, we only have it on Mondays”. Okay that’s odd seeing as though you have it on the menu as a regular option to order other than on the day of the specials. So I ordered something else (Two piece fish with Mac and cheese and yams) which was really good! The fish was seasoned well and crispy the Mac and cheese was bomb and the yams were sweet but they were mushy like baby food for some reason. So I went back again today Monday to try again with the red beans. I get there around the opening time and ready to order and the cashier (Lala) tells me that the red beans won’t be ready until 1:30pm. Mind you the place opens at 11:30am and I’m wondering why the food wasn’t already prepped and ready to be served. Like what if you had a company ordering from you for lunch and you tell them that? So okay whatever I ordered my food willing to wait because I really have a taste for some red beans. As I continue with my order getting ready to order my side the Lala rudely tells me. “The specials don’t come with sides” and I’m like “Well can I add a side?” and she responded “yes”.2 hours later and I get my food, get home ready to enjoy and I was soo disappointed and disgusted actually. The red beans were not savory they were sweet as if they put sugar in the pot when making it.Sad to say I will not be returning again.

I really wanted to leave five stars, but it wasn’t a five star experience for me. I ordered the half rack of Lamb Chops with two sides. First, let me just say the taste of the food is great! However, it’s way too salty. Also, the food is overpriced considering you get such small portions. This place has so much potential. I just don’t want a headache after eating it and I would like $35 dollars worth of food. Other than that, the chops were very tender and had a great taste. Just hold the salt and give the customer what they are paying for!

the fried foods are definitely good. As far as the pasta- 6/10 . wasnt that good the cheese was very bitter & thick! Also they are over priced and you get small portions.

Looked on this page from INSTAGRAM AND SAW HOW THIS FOOD WAS GOING UP WITH THE ADS. I WAS AMAZED AND REALLY WANTED IT. THOSE LAMB CHOPS HAD MY MOUTH WATERING!!!REALLY Going to eat here again. THE MANAGER HERE IS VERY ADAMANT ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE WAY THE FOOD IS BEING MADE AND HOW IT TASTE FOR THE CUSTOMER. I'VE EATEN HERE 3 TIMES NOW AND MORE TO COME. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND PASSION FOR FOOD AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

This like the 4th time I haven’t been satisfied , This the last time I’m visiting , I ordered a creole pasta today shoot for $17 I should get more than 3 small shrimp lol ??& the other times I went they’ll either change up their packaging & last time I didn’t even get my croissant with my pasta but I wasn’t tripping but now I’m over it. I gave them benefit of the doubt multiple times! Food never taste the same ! I ordered seafood nachos one day my cheese was so watery, I’m not even being dramatic. Ridiculous

Me and my boyfriend got the wings and seafood potatoes with macaroni and yams, which were $3.99 per side. The wings were 10/10. They had enough sauce and were a good size. The potatoes, however, were dry and clumpy. The shrimp on top were good and seasoned but they weren’t hot. The macaroni wasn’t all that. They had oil sitting at the bottom the container and they weren’t all that cheesy. Not to mention, for 3.99 they only fill the container 1/3 of the way(picture included). The yams were okay. Customer service was great. The guy who took our order was nice. and we saw him bring someones food out to their car so we thought he would bring ours out, but he didn’t. and our food was sitting on the counter for a while and they didn’t tell us anything. Our food came out to be $65 and we couldn’t even get a full container of our sides and the potatoes weren’t all that good. expensive place.

Food is great! However the employees are very unresponsive when it comes to online orders or just calls for inquiry. Phone goes straight to the voicemail every single time, this could greatly be improved in this area.

Excellent score, again! Last night was our second experience with The Bayou Affect and the dinner was so tasteful. My husband ordered the lamb and I ordered the creole pasta with fish. The lamb was tender, pasta was spicy, and the fish has a delicious hint of lemon. You'll be surprised by what comes in that to-go box!! I hope these guys go big one day and open up a restaurant downtown.

Amazing food, worth the wait!

First time trying this place the wait was a little long but the food was worth it my husband had the philly cheese steak egg rolls he said they brought tears to his eyes they were so good??
