I could not review without listing a recommendation or not. I was never able to get to this place before we left town, but I tired twice. The hours posted on Yelp and Google don’t match and I missed it twice. ?

So delicious! We love this place ?

My favorite Ice Cream shop in all of Baton Rouge!!! Every time I go, I'm greeted by the sweetest employees. My boyfriend and I have tried so many different items on the menu, and they are ALL AMAZING! I would highly recommend checking this place out. Another huge thing for me is how incredibly sweet the owner is. She loves to get to know her regulars!

This place is Amazing ?. The atmosphere is fun friendly and so trendy. The food here is so good I can cry tears of joy. So many amazing desserts to try, I literally want everything. The flavors is so mind blowing. Definitely recommend everyone to visit here to be Amazed by it deliciousness!

The products are great, my kids and I love the exotic flavors, sweet potato ? yum. The only complaint is the layout. Too small a place to stand in line and order. I recommend the register and ordering desk move outside and there should be a pick up window. The counter is in the way of the flow.

I didn't like this place from the very beginning. When we got there the hours on the door said from noon to 9:00 p.m. . It was almost 2:57pm, I went to pull the door handle and it was locked. So the young lady from the inside came to open the door and stated they will be open in a few moments. My friend asked why were the hours posted that they should have already been open at noon. The young lady said that because of pandemic they have been opening late. So we suggested they take the hours of operation off the door because they were incorrect. That was the first issue and then the young lady told us to stand outside for a couple more moments until they open. We were not going to stand outside in 23° weather to wait for the store to open. Even on here it lists the place as opening at noon. I posted a picture of it.We left went somewhere else and came back and they were open. So I ordered and what I received was not what I expected to have. The first picture shows what I wanted. The second picture shows what I got. I am very big on aesthetics when I go to order something that I saw on social media because I am a social a lot .I asked the young lady why was my ice cream not in the fish mouth so I can hold it and why did she put it in a cup? I told her I wanted my treat to look like what they posted on their Instagram and I went to show her what I ordered. She said they do not make the treats like that at this particular location because it gets messy. She said what they post on Instagram is just for content and pictures. I advised her it was false advertisement because I want my treat to look like what they're advertising. Why advertise something you don't make? They post these pictures on social media and tell you to come get it and come order it but then when you get there and they don't make it look like the pictures. ?Mind you this is the only location in Baton Rouge as if there is another location with her saying they don't make it like that not at "this location".When I told the server that was not what I wanted she did not apologize, she just walked off and was looking crazy.I initially told her I didn't want it because that's not how I wanted my treat to look but I ate it anyways because my friend paid for it and I didn't want to waste food or throw it away. Had it been my own money that I spent I would have thrown it away.Overall the dessert was good but the experience was trash. When I come visit a place from out of town it's definitely for the experience as well as the food and the aesthetics that I've seen on social media. I will not be back here. Because, don't post something that you're not make.

Very good ice cream! I got the Ube ice cream with fruity pebbles and the custard filled fish. I would highly recommend this to anyone who goes! There is another ice cream flavor I tried which had brown sugar and in my opinion that one was a little overpowered by the brown sugar.Overall very good/cool spot.

Topped off a great evening with my daughter at Boru Ramen with a visit right next door at the Sweet Society dessert shop. Located at the Electric Depot, these businesses are great assets to Downtown Baton Rouge and its revival. Kudos to the investors, developers and politicians who have taken the risk to bring this area back. This is my first visit to the Electric Depot and my initial impression is quite favorable. Seems like a fun place to hang out with friends or even make new ones. The interior is reminiscent of old school ice cream parlors with light and bright decor and a little echo-ee (is that a word?). The swing hanging inside the entrance is a nice touch. I can definitely see myself going back this summer to take my dessert to enjoy in the courtyard. The offerings on any given day vary. Tonight we shared a Taro and Brown Sugar Milk Tea taiyaki which I am told is a traditional Japanese ice cream dessert with soft serve ice cream inside a fish-shaped waffle. Ours did indeed have the fish-shaped waffle which was a dessert all by itself. We went with custard filling. However, I will be back to try the red bean paste. Not sure what to expect.

My daughters took me here for dessert. It was great to have a vegan option that was delicious!

So good! They have binsu, taiyaki pockets and icecream, tea, lemonade, Japanese sodas, and snacks! Also a great atmosphere!
