We stayed here for 4 nights starting Saturday night - about 12 -15 folks stayed at this hotel and we also rented a conference room. Hotel is very comfortable. - Check in was a breeze. The parking is by valet - self parking is also available but the garage is a block or two away.- Valet parking is $22 and self parking is 10. The person at the valet was very friendly and helpful They have a cafe and bar in the hotel lobby with breakfast and dinner options. - there is also a real starbucks that is attached to the hotel which was very convenient.. The rooms were very spacious. the wifi was quite fast, the AC was cold enough and the bathrooms are quite big. Some of the cons - they do not offer regular housekeeping - so when you stay for 4 days it becomes a little tough, no coffee replacement, no cups, no towels refreshed, etc.

This was our first overnight stay in Baton Rouge at the Courtyard. Check-in was easy and the staff were very professional and helpful with dinner recommendations. The hotel is centrally located. We enjoyed the balcony room and are already planning a return trip.

My family and I choose this Marriott Courtyard Hotel in downtown Baton Rouge for our 5 day stay while attending our daughter's college graduation from LSU, in addition to other school activities related to her final days. We were extremely pleased with our stay at the hotel. The friendly front desk staff and other hotel staff members were extremely welcoming and attentive with the exception of a female working the front desk on the Saturday night of May 21 who was not friendly and/or attentive to our simple attempt to make a purchase from the hotels snack store. (She displayed a Very Poor Attitude, and may need more customer service training) But overall the hotel and our room was extremely clean. Oh the attached Starbucks was a welcoming plus. Geaux Tigers

Ordered via the Starbucks and all worked out. Very clean store a smooth experience.

Srsly what is the point of making an online order when their site isn't up to date with unavailable products, they never ever have it ready when you get there...you end up standing here while they fix drink after drink after drink and ONLY when you get here do they work on your online order. What's the point. They always mess up my orders. Just can't come here anymore.

We selected the Courtyard Baton Rouge Downtown due to the points required for a free night and the relative newness of the hotel. The hotel is fine and the area seems safe. The lobby was disorganized with lots of boxes of stuff laying around, but otherwise the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and pretty standard for a newer Courtyard property. The onsite bar/restaurant was very meager and I wouldn't rely on it for anything. The dropoff/valet area was very tight and hard to maneuver in. The parking is located down a gravel alley across the street from the hotel. Downtown Baton Rouge appears to be very sleepy - we were there on a Monday night and most restaurants were closed. If the price is right, I'd stay here again, but I'd also probably try other options in the area if I were visiting again.

I stay often for work. Great staff and service. Central downtown location. Always acknowledge Marriott status. Joe at the front desk always anticipates my needs. All front desk staff are always helpfull. Whittier is great at the bar. Jared is always a friendly face when I arrive ve late at night Thank you for all the pleasant stays Steve G

Fast friendly and busy.. the staff is young and vibrant.. loved it

Rare do I leave a bad review….None of the staff knew how to operate the Starbucks app. Deliberately mumbled so customers could not hear their voices, yet yelled at their “friends” in the store..Billed for a birthday drink. Multiple customers left due to their incompetence..I understand this is the “great resignation” - can’t wait for robots to replace the attitudes of these “workers”.

On my first visit I was highly disappointed. I specifically asked the cashier not to put egg on my beyond sausage sandwich and she did, which cost me $9.95. I then purchased yet another.Starbucks coffee is overrated.
