I'm gonna give this place 5 stars anyway, because the food and service were excellent. But, they kept the "background music" too loud. I know some people like that uber mellow, adult contemporary stuff. I hate it. The last thing I want, while eating out with friends, is Ed Sheeran's whining so loud that we have to raise our voices to be heard. It stifles conversation. Everyone was too self conscious to speak freely when they had to project their voice enough to be overheard by every nearby table. Guys, they call it "background music" for a reason. I'm assuming either, this evening was a fluke, or they'll figure it out soon enough - and with that one annoying quality removed, they'll be left with only excellent food and service. Thus, 5 stars.
I can never go wrong when ordering a steak here. I just wish this establishment would have a seating area reserved for couples only. It is a beautiful restaurant, but the ambience is marred for couples when seated near crying babies and large groups who are notoriously louder than couples. It's a great place to eat, but it definitely hasn't been romantic for us on our visits.
Everything was great. The hostess was so nice and attentive. We came here to celebrate our anniversary. We were treated with champagne and bread budding and ice cream! OMG bread pudding was delicious! We definitely will be back soon! Thanks so much for the awesome hospitality!
The food was just amazing. The service from Nathan was awesome and his coworkers made it even better. This place is the full experience if you're looking for a great place this is definitely one of them.

We have tried for literally months and months to eat here at this Stabs in Central. We have given up. It doesn't matter if you call in advance. It doesn't matter if you go a week before and try to reserve a date and time. It is ALWAYS reserved and booked up. Always!! The bottom line is...just doesn't matter...you can't get in to eat here. Ever! And the times we've just walked up to see if by fluke we can get in.......we are told "Sorry you don't have a reservation". We look around the restaurant and there is only 10% of the seats full....the rest empty. And it still doesn't matter. They won't let you eat because 'we don't have a reservation'. A reservation that you can't ever get. They must have a list of people that they are the only ones who can reserve a table. It's really like a club. Unless you are the elite...you don't get in. Save yourself the trouble. Go to the Stabs on Jefferson. We have never had a problem getting in there to eat. Ever!
One of the top restaurants in the area. Food is great, service is terrific, the atmosphere is very nice. We sat inside, upstairs which is kind of a cool but small area but is a little noisy up there. I am sure if we were on the balcony, it would have been much quieter. All in all, it is a perfect place for date night!
Great food and the service from Samantha was over top. I recommend the lobster ? and seafood trio. Be back soon.
Went here for the first time two weeks ago so prob the week of jan 18.. an was not disappointed. Had the rack of lamb an a nice glass of Riesling. Def coming back here soon .. way to go yall 5 stars.
