It was ok. Been about 1 and a half years since we've been there. The food wasn't as good this time. The ribs were not as tender as I remember, the chicken leg quarter had to be cooked after getting home. Baked beans were really good, the Mac and cheese was good, had to much cheese, I should have asked how much, it was good it just wasn't enough.
Five stars for flavor. One star for the cost.We bought chopped brisket in bulk for sandwiches for a party we we’re having. The flavor was nice , not too smoky, and it didn’t justify the cost at all.I checked the website the night before, and the cost was $13.99lb. The next day, it was $18.99lb. That’s a 36% jump in cost overnight. Inflation was at 7.87% that day, so I was shocked. Unfortunately, it was too late to change plans 30 minutes before guests began arriving. I was now in a bind, so I went ahead and paid for it this time. I’ll be planning ahead and making my own moving forward.
the best barbecue in town. been eating there for over 35 years. I now live in Michigan but every time I come twice a year to visit. I eat there five times and I bring all my friends and family with me to eat . they I'll know where I want to go eat never can get enough Sonny's BBQ
My only gripes are the place is an ice chest it's freezing inside and your food gets cold quick as do you. And my ribs have never really been good, my brisket is now the go to but often later in the day it also can be dry and kind of burnt. If the food is fresh it's amazing if not it's seriously mediocre and not worth
Lived up to it's rep. Egg rolls were awesome. Did was fantastic. Margaritas are really good. Staff was friendly. Very clean environment.

Had the worst food poising in my life from this place. Cold food shoulda been the hint. Spent hours trying to get it right, but the management is utterly incompetent.
Delicious BBQ & fixings. Very friendly staff. Best smoked fall off the bone BBQ baby back ribs. Great pulled pork, chicken & brisket. Highly recommend!!!
Absolutely terrible, all the meat was fatty, and parts were under cooked. All the fried pickels were greasy and under cooked. The mac and cheese was bland. The best part was the bread , the beans, and sauce.
