Portions are way too small even for regular entrees. Not enough for one person even. Taste was good but food not filling.

The mangonada was the highlight of my visit. It had great flavor and was strong. We thought it was happy hour but they stopped doing happy hour on Saturday. The restaurant is nice and the service was good as well but I was disappointed in the food. I ordered this stuffed peppers on a crostini with a honey drizzle and there just wasn't much flavor. My guest had the gulf fish, which she also said didn't have much flavor. After that, I thought I'd order something else just to try so I ordered the charcuterie. When I saw it, I was confused and disappointed because it was small, the presentation wasn't good, and I saw no cheese. When the waiter came back I told him I was confused about what I ordered and I sent it back. When we asked for the checks the manager came and apologized. I told him my concern that there was no cheese and showed him the picture. At first he agreed, and then upon looking closer he said it was under the bread. But he was very nice about it, took it off my check and apologized again.

There are hundreds of fast food places, dozens of Southern/Creole restaurants and a few really good steak restaurants in the area but Solera dares to be different. First, the food... We had four different Tapas and each got a desert. We weren't disappointed with ANY of the above. In fact, if we could have eaten more, we would have. The portion sizes are perfect for sharing while leaving your appetite wanting more. The frozen mango drink was magnificent. The service was perfect, atmosphere really good and the server (Katie) was always available and helpful. We will definitely be going back to try more Tapas.

I decided to try Solera last night for my birthday based on all of the positive reviews, and they did not disappoint! The food, the drinks, the service, the atmosphere, everything was incredible. I will be back.

Excellent food, commendable service. Sangrias alone are worth the visit to Solara. Every dish was very well done from preparation to presentation. Be sure to ask for Anna or Abigail for your server. We will definitely be back!

Very rare 5 star review from myself. This place was amazing, from the helpful bartender, wait staff, to the food. An all in all great experience. We had both types of Paella, the steak flat bread, and the steakhouse burger. Paella was straight fire and full of flavor, the chorizo was absolutely top notch. The steak on the flat bread was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My wife had the steakhouse burger which was also delicious. Big shout-out to the bar tender she made my wife.comfortable with a tasty mocktail. And for my whiskey drinkers the buffalo trace old fashioned was so good my brother in law and I had 2. The host was very accommodating as we had a reservation for 5 which turned to 6 and they made sure we were able to seat comfortably. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud, not too dark. The bathrooms were also very clean (pet peeve of mine here in Baton Rouge). Thank you to everyone for having us, it was a great time. I've now added this to my list of favorite places in Baton Rouge!

Love the vibe, delicious drinks (forgot my dang cherries in my old fashioned though ?). Small plates but very delicious and rich. Too notch service. Maybe a con is just a little bit more variety. Don't expect to get full from the meal, but do expect to excite your palate. Try it out !

SOLERA TAPAS RESTAURANT AND BAR IN BATON ROUGE, LA.For those who not Know spain cuisine, are not from spain, or have not no visited spain, It is sure, It is a good restaurant. Our request was:Tapa Patata Brava, is potato Usa. Invention of restaurat's cheff.Croquetas, was closets thing to Spain.Gambas, nothing spanish, is American Shrimp.Chorizo not from Spain, sausage from Walmart.Paella for two, too far from Spain. No resemblance to spain food.

Excellent tapas choices, nice happy hour( all evening on Tuesday), moderately priced Spanish wines, Sangria and paella make for a great evening. Some of the best tapas were a creamy ham croquette, Brussels sprouts with chorizo and goat cheese and wonderful manchego stuffed peppers. The seafood paella can rival those in Spain. Even a manchego whipped cheese dessert was very tasty. Fun place and a great waiter in Drew.

Amazing food, the Carrilladas, Gamba and Chuletas de Cordero was so good. Very nice staff.
