I love Rouses!.… It has a great selection of Louisiana's products, along with beer and wines. You can buy good quality ingredients here, and they are always placed in convenient locations!

I always love shopping at rouses. This one in particular is larger than most they have a great hot bar in addition to the deli. They also have a very large liquor section with a walk-in beer cooler with a huge selection of domestic and craft beers. Highly recommend checking out this location if you haven't yet

The store is so neat and clean and everybody always ask if you need help I like shopping there

This is one of the best locations in town which makes it one of the better groceries in town overall. I definitely prefer shopping here compared to other local or regional brands. The store is spacious and clean with a good selection of premium goods. We don't get everything on our list here but you could if you want the convenience.

This is my favorite grocery store and the best and biggest of all of the Rouses stores in the area. Great selection and great employees keep me coming back to this location.

Hey Lindsey working 5/8/22 May 8th at 12 noon. When you work in a customer service position, you must then provide customer service. Standing there with an Expressionless face mad at the world is not what you do when you work with the public on a holiday. When a customer says to YOU THE WORKER "thank you have a nice day" YOU, the WORKER could at least say "you too" or maybe even use a little more energy and say "Happy Mother's Day" unless you clearly didn't see the child loading my buggy as you sloppily pushed my items to him. You clearly saw I was struggling to get my buggy loaded, but then again, maybe you are just oblivious. Word of advice in customer service, and this may just be hard, but I'll give it anyway. It's simple if you want it to be...... Smile and be nice! That's it. You never know what the customer on the other side of that counter might be going thru .. a death, financial distress, domestic issues etc.... Take a little more consideration for the general public and you just maybe surprised at what good happens to you in return.

Always very clean. Always friendly. Great little hot self service food to go bar. Very reasonably priced for the platefull I got

I’m a pretty big fan of Rouses, however the experience I had tonight was very unsettling to say the least. I always encounter excellent customer service within this store, but this evening I was met with curt and disrespectful workers who refused purchase. I completely understand the law and that they were doing their jobs as trained, however the response my sister and I received was uncalled for and rude. To tell someone “I won’t be the reason they die tonight” when purchasing wine is never okay, nor is telling confused patrons “at this point, y’all can call corporate” and shoo away the clerk who was helping us. When we asked for management for a better understanding, we were given a first name and was told that none of the workers were aware of a full name, and they never informed us of the active manager on duty. The woman helping us also mentioned we could “call the police if we didn’t know the law”. As a woman of color in this day and age, I cannot say I was able to take that comment lightly, and wasn’t sure if a simple misunderstanding would lead to authorities being summoned. After being publicly humiliated, we decided to leave. We met with Earl outside in the parking lot, which we explained the issue we were having and expressed the law understanding, but we’re more so upset with the situation at hand. He was amazing with explaining his rules, apologized for our experience and truly listened to our concerns. We appreciate Earl for diffusing the situation and listening. The positivity in this review is for him and the store as a whole and I applaud any store for upholding their laws, it just never has to be met with disrespect.

I bought 3 pounds of boiled crawfish today and was terribly disappointed when I got home to eat them. They were so overcooked that they truly weren't edible. I've gotten good crawfish from Rouses before, but these were nothing but mush. It's too bad that the people that boil them don't make sure that they're edible before they go for sale. Won't do that again!

I was already a little hesitant to stop here because the Rouses owner flew to the capital to storm it with the rest of the mob. I just wanted to get some flowers for my friend that recently had a baby. As I was standing next in line with the flowers, without notice, the cashier turned off her light and walked off without saying anything. I was the only black person in her line so I’ll let you make your own inference here. Luckily Hayden behind the spirits counter saw what happened and quickly checked me out afterwards.
