Wonderful flavor and wonderful service. Unfortunately they did forget to add chicken to a calzone we ordered but, they were quick to remedy the situation and very apologetic. Best service we've had in Baton Rouge so far.We will definitely be going back.
Called to place a to go order as I left work. Managed to drive, park and walk in, still on hold. 13 minutes on hold. And when I let them know inside that I want to place an order and have been on hold 13 minutes, all I get is annoyed responses for pointing it out. There were 7 customers inside, not like it was busy. It was a mistake, but when you can't just say sorry and at least show some understanding, then your service is unlikely to handle anything else well. Never again.Update! Finally got my order. And it was wrong. That did get a sorry. Getting it fixed now. Somehow my "Garden alfredo calzone, swapping marinara for alfredo" became "Garden alfredo, swapping alfredo for the marinara." Not sure how it is possible to remove marinara from a garden alfredo and add alfredo. I mean, it starts with alfredo sauce. But just reiterates that quality has declined here. Not worth your money or time.
Poor customer service. The online order we had placed nearly two hours prior hadn’t even been started when we went to pick the food up at the scheduled time. Waited for almost 25 minutes before being told that our order was going to be an additional 30 minutes. Severely understaffed for a Saturday night, yet the staff were standing around, seeming unsure of what to do.
Every time we are in town we have to get food from here. Their calzones and pizzas are delicious, and the reusable cups are always fun to collect.
I only gave one star because that’s the only way I could comment! I patronize Rotolos on the regular because at first the management & everything was superb! Never had any issues! On yesterday, 3/11 I ordered original cheese ticks & it had a banana pepper on it! I proceeded to ask my waitress what was it & her response was what do I want her to do about it!? I ask her to please get me another order of them! She proceeded to give attitude when I’m ONLY asking her to do her job! We shouldn’t be treated any kind of way when we are spending our money! Customer service should always be your number one priority when you’re dealing with the public! Hopefully the GM sees this & if any questions are concerns please feel free to reach out to me! Please remember to lead a healthy life and eat pizza only in moderation. From the multiple times I’ve been here, this Rotolo’s provides friendly and professional customer service, and their pizza is great quality food, definitely worthy of a restaurant. The pizza crust has a good texture and the sauce tastes great. My wife and I believe they use fresh ingredients. We really like the “muffuletta” and “the krewe” specialty pizzas. They have plastic cups you can take home that we really enjoy using. This location now provides them only around certain holidays, and my wife and I would love to see them return to being a more permanent part of the collection of products they provide to their customers, so that anybody could take them home whenever they go out to eat. Rotolo’s cups make up a good part of the regular use cups we have within our home. It’s things like these that add an awesome touch to the already great products at a relatively decent price Rotolo’s provides to their customers.
This was my first visit to this location and second time ever at a Rotolos. Uhhhh why have I been sleeping on this place?!?! This calzone was SO good, everything about it was great but that marina sauce took it to a whole other level is was so good. My friend and I were able to bring our dogs with us to sit outside which was awesome because we just left the dog park. We also got the cookie desert which we forgot to take a picture of but it was also fantastic. I will definitely be back and likely frequent this place.
We indulged on the Muffuletta pizza and it was so good, the toppings, cheese and crust so yummy. We dined outside.
Went in with my wife on 1/2/22; service was amazing! My wife has Celiac Disease and cannot have gluten, both Calvin in the kitchen and Angel at the table made sure that all of our requests were taken care of perfectly. They special made anything we needed so she could enjoy the meal with me. Great staff and atmosphere. Worth the money 100% - Matt
Ordered this pizza for pick-up. The person that took order was polite and friendly, sometimes a rarity nowadays. To be fair I ordered 20 minutes prior to close. That being said the chicken on the pizza was dry. The crust was like sweet bread and the sauce was sweet as well. I'm not a fan of sweet pizzas. If you like sweet pizza this would be great for you.
