We thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch with Terri as our sweet server. She makes an amazing Strawberry Mexican Mule drink ☺️
The Google reviews for this restaurant had me feeling really encouraged so I ordered today through Major Menus. The food that I received did not live up to the hype of these reviews. The sauce for the enchilada came in a cup on the side which was aa neat touch so my food wasn't soggy but unfortunately, it was terrible. It had separated in the container so it had the consistency of spit-up (and the color as well). I would have eaten the enchilada by itself but it had absolutely no flavor. The beans tasted like I took a bite out of a jar of minced garlic and the rice was like a cube of bouillon. I added hot sauce to everything in an attempt to salvage it but it just wasn't an enjoyable meal.
The food is great and our bartender tonight was great. She was a thin, brunette and she was working hard! However, there was another girl behind the bar with a moon tattoo on her neck. She was rude, and did NOTHING for the 2 hours we were there. She walked past us several times and never parted her lips to speak. She talked to a set of customers the entire time and only served them. When other people came in she even ask the brunette to handle that table. The moon tattoo lady's customer service skills are HORRIBLE. She made us extremely uncomfortable and gave our visit a negative vibe. My husband has been a restaurant manager for several years and I've worked in customer service for years, we both would have sent her home. Especially since she appeared to be wearing her lounge wear anyway.
I placed an order for beef enchiladas with rice and beans from this new restaurant for lunch from MajorMenus.com. The beef enchiladas were great, as were the beans and rice. But I did not like the sauce that came with the order for the enchiladas. I would highly recommend offering salsa and/or sour cream or a cheese topping.
Excellent Restaurant! The food and service are excellent! I also love their servers, bartenders, and music choices!
As a Texan, I approve of this restaurant. Food came out quickly. The queso was so delicious I could have made that my entire meal. The beans had great flavor. The fajitas also tasted & cane out great. I also had perfect service by my waiter.I'll definitely be back.
We stopped by for lunch after museum hopping. Standard beginning with chips and salsa. Warm, crispy chips. Salsa was mild but good. I like heat (spice not temp) in my salsa. Started with guacamole. Slightly different than what I’m used to but still good. Cumin added?? The Veggie Tacos were excellent and very filling! My husband ordered the shrimp enchiladas with a side of street corn. He was very happy with the food as well and said this is his new favorite spot! Service was very friendly!
Love this spot downtown! Recently went to their Drag Brunch on Halloween and my gals and I had the BEST time! We now know how to officially “kiki”! Food was great and the mimosas were even better!!!! Will definitely be back
Good food great atmosphere
Everyone was so nice and fun! Food was excellent just wish I could’ve enjoyed the bottomless mimosas (my own fault lol) entertainment was A+!
