As I was departing from a nearby brewery, two women recommended this establishment and I am thankful for the timing. The atmosphere was chaotic but the funny and playful staff took it in stride. They even took time to offer food and drink recommendations while providing their own feedback.Everything was delicious but do not let them serve you naked oysters, add bacon ;-)

Well, we waited, seated at a table for 90 minutes for 2 dz oysters. It was on a Monday $.50 oysters. There is no reason why it takes 90 minutes for oysters.

I'm so glad we found this place!! We were quoted a 30-35 minutes wait time and we were called in 10 within mins. We started off with the crawfish cheesecake which was delish! The seared tuna was pretty good too. The Orleans style charbroiled oysters were really good. We ordered the stuffed shrimp but was too full to get to it. I enjoyed the rosemary lemondrop martini. The blackberry sage margarita was excellent. Gus' bloody mary was perfect. Last but not least, I must mention Joy's great service!! I will be back next time in town!!

We had lunch there today. We shared a dozen of Charbroiled Oysters that were as good if not better than any I've ever tasted. Melanie had the Trout Almandine and I had the Softshell on the bayou. Both were delicious and generous helpings of all. Very highly recommended.

Nice memorabelia of sports and entertainment. Especially impressed by the oversized sneaker in the bathroom.Lunch fare typical, red beans and rice on Monday and my wife had a half a shrimp dinner. They are so expensive now they sell half orders. Good service.

The meatball quesadilla was very delicious seasoned very well paired good with the tomatoe based sauce with green scallions on top perfect the carbroil oysters were the best I had so far not salty piping hot temp with the right amount of season and cheese paired well with the French bread to mop up the sauce perfect

The raw oysters were fantastic and the beer cold !! We went on the 50¢ raw oyster night, wow what a bargain. The service was great, everyone treated us so well. I love it when people are happy at work, it shows up in how the customers feel. Wonderful atmosphere, it was busy and still they were getting all the orders out promptly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable temperature. You can't go wrong eating at Phil's !!

We stopped at Phil's on a Saturday night while traveling through Baton Rouge. The grilled oysters were fabulous! The shrimp Po Boy was delicious as well. The service was perfect. We also recommend the salad with fried mushrooms and the red sangria. The waitress noticed my son's birthday would be the next day when she carded him, and brought him a birthday dessert with a sparkler. We will be back!

Let me say this place can do great things. I just don’t like shucking oysters early. The staff and shuckers are on point. The only problem is this restaurant MAYBE shucked early- everything else they have might be great but oysters shucked an hour ago are not great- but look I’m not sure

It was our 1st Dining experience with Phil’s! The Food was Delicious! The waiter was really nice! Great Atmosphere!
