Food was not good at all.
I've eaten here before but Lord this time I ordered 2 fish plates and they were both horrible. The fish tasted like someone had thawed them out in hot water and fried them the potato salad was dry and unseasoned and the customer service was not that great either...I do not recommend at all

My first time eatting at Pappas soul food and I can’t complain!! Everything was fresh and season just right . Best to go early , they sell out sides quick ! Everything was so good !! Update: everything was that good, I went back the next day to try the spaghetti and meatballs. Very fulfilling and delicious!
Awesome red beans and greens.
I have liked Pappa's, but recently it just has not had good food quality. I ordered red beans & rice with 3 chicken wings, with an extra cornbread muffin. The beans had a lot of rice in them and were dry, the potato salad was HORRIBLE; no taste with bad consistency and fell apart! The service was slow, and when I finally received my plates, it was good I checked them because they left my extra muffin off. When I brought it to their attention, they handed me a dollar and said they were out of muffins. Now if I had not said anything, they would've kept my money and stiffed me on the muffin! I am big on supporting BOB, but not for awhile Pappas.....
I always get the smothered turkey wings sweet potatoes mustard greens they flavor is consistent. Good food
This was my first time trying Pappas Soul Food. I placed 2 orders, I'm only referring to my food only, the crawfish fettuccine I did not care for, I ordered the spaghetti and cheese, please tell me why I got mac and cheese, well let me tell you about my mustard greens, they were so salty, I called the restaurant, to let them know, someone had a heavy hand when adding the salt. I'm sorry but you asked for my feedback and I'm just keeping it real.
one of the best REAL homecooked meals places in baton rouge. Do not sleep on them! They started doing snowballs in the summer and that was one of the most convenient things to have considering most of us Baton Rouge people LOVE snowballs. Right in the middle of Baton Rouge!!
