I'm giving this a 2 out of 5 because the only really good thing was the burgers. The fries had obviously already been cooked and then just reheated in the hot oil, my mother ordered grilled onions with her burger and they came about 5 minutes after her burger was brought which I thought was kind of odd, I mean why not just keep her burger back there the extra 5 minutes instead of bringing something to her table she has to wait to eat because she's still waiting on you to correctly fulfill the order??? Not to mention, after our food was brought our waitress was never to be seen again, did not ask us how our food was, if she could get us anything, refills, nothing. I just went up to the front and paid and got a box myself, which is fine, but I felt like the waitress should have at least asked us at some point how everything was or should have been more friendly. It seemed like she was annoyed she even had to be a waitress when she was waiting on us.We are small town southern folk and don't "come to town" often. I was treating my elderly mother to lunch at a place she said she loved but she was just as disappointed as I. We are sad but we probably won't be returning.
Food was good. I consider it a little over priced. Was just our table and one other, yet, no one returned to table to see if anything needed. Would like to see it somewhat cleaner. We sat in booth by window. Windows and sills need to be cleaned.
My husband ordered food from here tonight. First, we did not get the sweet potato fries that were ordered and paid for. Secondly, my hamburger had mayo on it; although, it was requested to not have it. Mayo makes me extremely sick; therefore, I cannot eat the food I paid for. Unfortunately, they are now closed and there is nothing that can be done.
One of my favorite burgers in Baton Rouge. Great food and regular service. The prices are normal.
Passing through coming from Dallas. Googled nearby place and this popped up. Stopped in for lunch and I was extremely satisfied. Burgers were large and delicious. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeños. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. Fries were made from peeled potatoes. Not processed. I would definitely recommend this place. Shakes were amazing as well!!
I’m a Baton Rouge native, born and raised. I have loved coming here since I was a kid. Great food, a friendly staff, and I believe they’ve figured out the whole ‘let’s not have a fire’ thing.
Had the chicken sandwich. It was really good. Food came out fast!
Some of the most bland and tasteless food I’ve ever had. The service was good, but why did everything taste like cardboard? I can’t figure Out how they made it so tasteless, it must’ve taken some real effort.
The Hamburgers were old fashioned and surprisingly Delicious. The entire meal was Awesome.
Good burgers and shakes. Try to avoid the sunday church rushes. Friendly staff and old style feel you dont see much these days.Lost a star due to ridiculous wait for 2 burgers (45min) pretty sure they lost our first ticket or if thats the norm-they gotta cut that time down lol.
