The best restaurant in Louisiana! Get the ribeye and pasta special which includes whatever is fresh from the local farm that week. It is the best meal I've ever had each time. Consistently delicious unique flavors

I had a very delicious pasta with some part of ribeye medium rare and scrumptious! As well as a delicious soup. Omnom!

Update: since the beginning of the pandemic I tried (and failed) to get a reservation here..called multiple times and got no answer and left messages but was never called back. Needless to say I was so excited to finally get a table this time.....too bad we left feeling disappointed. My first observation was that the prices have increased slightly....with everything that has gone on in this world lately, I honestly expected that, so no big deal. However I am disappointed because the service, serving size, and quality have all seem to have gone down hill. After multiple attempts to get our waiter's attention, we finally walked to the bar to request that our drinks were refilled....when the food came out, the servings were way way smaller than our last visit. ( we typically order the same thing each time because that is our favorite at Nino's) The dish i ordered was Lamb t-bone....in the past they were the same size and quality....this time the small one was cooked to perfection but only big enough to tease me.....the second was much bigger but tough as shoe leather and stringy. Even the potatoe scallopini seemed to be of lesser quality almost as if it sat under a heat lamp for a few hours. We spent nearly $200 on a meal for two and left feeling like we could have done better for half the price at a different restaurant. We save up our money to be able to treat ourselves to an extravagant meal every once and while. It took us a while to save for this experience and it will likely be awhile before we can splurge like this again.....so I am of course very disappointed... originally i gave this place five stars but now I am dropping it down to two.OMG!!!!! This is probably the best restaurant i have ever been to in my life. The chef is truly a genius. I ordered the lamb and it was cooked to perfection. Infact everything that came out of the kitchen looked incredible. The staff is very friendly and eager to please the customers. Be sure to call ahead because the tables fill up quickly. The atmosphere is very intimate and inviting. Nino's would be the perfect place for date night. Overall we found our experience there to be utterly impressive. Be sure to check out this little gem of a restaurant.

Amazing Amazing Amazing... thats the only thing that can describe our experience at Nino's. We went there for a celebration and the ambience, the service, the food made us have a great time. The martinis were on the spot. Loved them. We had their daily special for appetizer. It was a Bruschetta- with smoked snapper remolade with green onions. OMG.. it was so good, we really wanted to go for seconds. The pasta dishes we ordered both had fusilli pasta. The dishes were so perfect, the pasta was at right texture. They said all their pastas are homemade. Really amazing. Perfect place for a date night. The only disappointment for me was the dessert. We ordered Tiramasu but we felt like it didnt saok the coffee concoction as much as needed. We had bites of it where the cake(lady finger) part didnt have any moistness in it. But we still will go back if given a choice again

Exceptional guest service. Quaint restaurant with class. The food was outstanding Italian cuisine.

Great food and nice staff!!!

Regretfully recommended this restaurant to my parents. The waitress and hostess were fine, but the man behind the bar was extremely rude. He went out of his way to make them feel uncomfortable. He hovered over them and watched them the entire time from the end of the bar. He went so far as to tell my mother that they could leave for asking about lasagna. My father ordered a sweet tea and then didn't care for it but didn't say anything. Just seeing my father's reaction to it, he told them to leave again. After this, my parents got up and put 10 dollars on the table for the waitress, even though they had only ordered a sweet tea and ice water. The man then insulted them even doing that, by saying 'don't bother leaving such a small gesture.' Do not know if this man was a manager or owner but he should not be in the service industry much less in charge of a restaurant if he is.

The food was really amazing and full of flavor. The atmosphere is great and the people are wonderful ! Truly enjoyed the whole experience !!

This is one of the most exceptional restaurants in Baton Rouge. The ambience and the service was exceptional. The food was fresh, innovative, and very delicious. I will definitely come back here. Reservations are recommended.

Delicious food! Highly recommended!!!
