On April 7, 2022 I was looking for a new place to go eat for lunch, and not far from my job on S. Acadian Thruway there is this very nice little diner on North Blvd, called Mr. C's Deli. This was my first time going there and I was greeted by some of the nicest persons you would ever want to meet. The person that stood out the most was this beautiful lady name Mrs. Ruthie who was such a sweetheart and I learnt that she was also the head cook. She made me feel soooo welcoming and inviting until I almost didn't want to go back to work (smile) and I must also compliment the owner, Mr. C's. He was a good example of what a good owner should represent with his cheerful spirit which was very welcoming. But after returning back to work with my lunch, I sat down to eat the most delicious Honey Glazed Chicken, Greens, white beans w/rice and corn. Now this is what I call a Louisiana home cooked meal at it's finest and this is the place I would recommend everyone to visit.Thanks again to Mrs. Ruthie and Mr. C's Deli . My bother go there and he told me the foods was very good. So I decided to give it a try. And my shrimp poboy sandwich was amazing with big shrimp and made to my order the way I wanted to be. I will be going back soon.
We used then for catering at the Krewe of Iduna Ball. The food was great and we will use them again!

I have visited this location twice in a week for breakfast. The breakfast is home cooking and so warm a nice lil spot to enjoy for breakfast or lunch! My son say the best BLT he ever had!!!
Beans is good on Mondays but this will be my last time going because this is now the 3rd time I couldn't get served. The lady stop serving 1 hour ahead of closing and the last time I went the lady told me I couldn't buy 1 of the many containers with red beans and rice in them because they were saved for someone. Not too friendly either.

I work for Louisiana Workforce and we go here alot with it being close. I went to Mr.C's today and ate from the deli. The Caucasian lady seemed lazy, not friendly, had a horrible attitude and have bad work ethics. She makes us not even want to eat here. Presentation is everything and she fixed my food as if she was serving a dog. Another worker had to go behind her to fix my plate. Mr.C seems really nice and I would hate to see his business ruined by lazy, non caring employees. If you don't want to work then don't come. We work to hard for our money.
