Stopped by today for lunch ( always get it to go& then sit in my truck & eat). Today I got there grilled shrimp salad & it was one of the best I have ever had, all ingredients were FRESH & I assume from local farmers & there were 8–10 Big grilled shrimp & there house dressing very tasty . BUT, y’all the bread pudding was an EXPERIENCE, by FAR the best I have ever tasted, & my wife & I & our children & our grandchildren, have traveled to many places over the years, BUT this is BY A LONG WAY the VERY BEST bread pudding, I have heard from friends how good theirs was, well trust me, it was. 250 % better than I thought it could have been . They always have my orders by the time they said they would . A little out of my way but have never been disappointed by the food or service.
Tiffiney was a fantastic server, super nice and attentive! The stuffed onions rings were super crunchy outside soft and flavorful inside and the burgers were delicious.
The manager on duty for Brunch hours on April 9th . Is not what I would expect, of an individual that should be in the restaurant business. Definitely, not in management ! Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Visiting from out of town. was not happy with our selection. Our waitress Billie Jean who was very understanding and compassionate, informs the manager on HER behalf of our displeasure….. of our selection. My husband and myself literally took one bite from our selected item ordered . In conclusion, was not satisfied. Please do not get me wrong, our intent was not to have our tab wiped out !! only to be acknowledged with sincere thoughts and an apology to paying disappointed customers ! In addition, owner of Mason ! Train your Manager to ask the customer what they can do to fix the situation. Have your manager offer basic solutions, such as a replacement meal, free dessert, or a discount.MANAGER ON DUTY !!!! YOU ARE NOT A GOOD PERSON !!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU !!!!.
Great brunch experience. The chicken and waffles was good. The pancakes yessss. And the fried catfish and loaded grits are amazing. We had a few appetizers and they were even good-onion rings, spinach dip, and the Buffalo wings(which we ordered some to-go as well. And the highlight for me was the $15 bottle of champagne and it comes with your free choice of juice. I will definitely visit here again.
Perfect example of how much Google reviews help consumers. I was looking for a place that had bottomless mimosas for lunch. Although Mason comes up as bottomless mimosas, they no longer offer it. The bottle of champagne was $15 and we were able to get the juice of our choice.Prices are reasonable and food portions are ample. Service is pretty quick considering it’s brunch time.Oh yea, it’s loud in the bar area…might be too loud for some and for others like me - just good vibes and great atmosphere!Best onion rings I’ve ever eaten!! Three of us had chicken and waffles, except I swapped out my waffle for a pancake. The food was absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. Not bland nor too salty. Someone else in our party had fried catfish and shrimp which they were happy with. For appetizers we also had the artichoke dip which was a bit thick but it was still very tasty and the Buffalo wings were great as well. Really no complaints at all about any of the food. The place is real lively and staff is very accommodating and attentive. We gave our waitress Shelli a $40 tip ($166 bill). You could tell she was overwhelmed and tired but she gave us her undivided attention and was extremely helpful with our food selections. The menu is extensive and being our first time there, everything looked good. We had no idea what we wanted so she was really a big help with us narrowing down our choices.My next venture there will be for Taco Tuesday.When we drove up, the parking lot was crowded but people were coming and going so we found a spot easily. I’m not sure but there may be additional parking in the back.
Fine dining at budget prices! When we arrived there was a 30 min wait but it was well worth it. I didn't see it on the menu but they do have boudin stuffed onion rings and they were seasoned to perfection. I ordered the Aloha Burger. It was made on a brioche bun that melted in your mouth. The portions were huge and you will leave stuffed. I recommend this to anyone traveling to this area.
