Got the chicken tenders, it was good but most the chicken had obviously stuck together in the fryer, so it wasn’t as crispy as I’d have liked. The steaks were phenomenal, a few in my party got some. Service was slow, but consistent. Overall a very good place to eat but had a few things that could improve.
Longhorn steakhouse never disappoints. For a chain restaurant the service, the ambience and the food are top notch. The portions are very large and good is very flavorful. We had the spicy chicken bites and the onion rings for appetizers and they were both very filling. I loved the chicken bites they had an Asian zing to them.The steak was cooked to the right temperature and was a large cut and very juicy. The seasoning had a little more salt than I would have liked but it blended well with the juices.Overall I would highly recommend Longhorn steakhouse for a nice casual dinner
We have always loved eating at Longhorn Steakhouse when we travel as they have the best filet; however, our recent visit was extremely disappointing for several reasons. The steaks were not prepared according to our requests. Both were over cooked. This has never happened before at any Longhorn that we’ve ever visited. My husband’s brussel sprouts had a hair in it which he discovered midway through the dish. We brought these issues to our servers attention. She, of course, was appalled and apologized profusely. We thought the cost of the brussel sprouts would be deducted from the bill but that didn’t happen. The restaurant manager didn’t even pay a visit to our table to apologize. On a positive note, our server was great but that’s all that was great. We are so disappointed since Longhorn has always been one of our favorite restaurants. This Longhorn was on Bluebonnet Blvd in Baton Rouge.
I ended up getting the outlaw ribeye. The steak was well seasoned and cooked how I requested. Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars because the steak was tough. It took more effort to chew than it should have. Great service I'll come again.
This steakhouse is excellent!. The place is beautifully decorated, the meats tender and cooked to perfection; the salads, super fresh!.... And other sides, just simply delicious!. The cocktails are very reasonable in price and well prepared!, Simply delightful! I totally recommend this restaurant!
So disappointed!! First time at this location… the whole experience was awful. The waitress forgot about our drinks, utensils.. etc.. We had to ask 10 times for bread, which she said was “in the oven” for like an hour… surely not. All the steaks were cooked incorrectly, and the lobster was too salty….never got drink refills… the list could go on… they get 2 stars just because the food wasn’t terrible, but geez…
Pretty bad service for a light Tuesday night. Food took forever, got my salad and food at the same time, even after I received my food and salad I had to ask for silverware. The hostess with neck tattoos came to my table twice, once to give me silverware and then again for something else, I clearly said thank you both times and got no acknowledgement in return. I really felt unwelcome during my visit at this location. On a side note the food was pretty good. Parmesan crusted chicken with okra and Caesar salad.
The first time my son and I came to dine there, and the service was excellent. Tonight the evening was ruined by our server's service. My weekend outing with my son is significant because he recently lost his father, and I am trying to cheer him up with whatever option is possible. Our server Gerrin H was busy with other customers from the very start. When he finally got time to get to our table, I placed the order to share and the appetizer to come with it. We were never served with an appetizer. When I noticed that the black ladies across the table, who had just sat down, were served with bread, I asked about it. Our server replied, "I can bring you the bread, no problem." The ladies across the table had not asked for it; it was brought as complimentary. We were served differently than they are. The food was ok, but I came there with my child for the experience. And it was ruined. I do not recommend this restaurant for family dining. I don't recommend it at all for the quality of service. The manager never came to the table and greeted us. It looks like a nice place but do not judge a book by its cover. Choose another place to spend the weekend evening.
Great service and great LH burger. I work here and they have great food and excellent service. Come on in and ask for Lisa. I'LL take great care of you!
The food was decent but the restaurant was dirty. Our booth still had someeleses crumbs and candies in the booth. There was a to go container on the edge the partition of our booth. We were the 2nd customers of the day so who know when that to go container got there. The women's bathroom had no toilet paper and men's had to hand towels. It's dusty around our booth. Doesn't look like anyone cleans here.
