Despite hearing many great things about Les Amis Bake Shoppe, I can't recommend this bake shop. Went on a Monday to select birthday treats. Most bakeries in BR are not open on Mondays, unfortunately, so this was my only option in the area. Picked out 4 mini cupcakes, which totaled $9+. Yeesh! Cupcakes were so disappointing. Cake was dry, frosting gritty. Only difference between flavors was what was drizzled or added to top of the frosting. I will not be back.Selection was also underwhelming. No regular sized cupcakes were available. The macarons were limited flavors. Just...not what I was expecting when visiting a bakery. A bakery should tantalize the shopper, not feel like "umm....I guess I'll just get this thing..."Lastly, the look of the shop did not wow me. It feel very hodge podge and lacking an overall aesthetic. I understand that a bakery is not the same as a restaurant, but a "look" and style would go a long ways here.
Ordered here multiple times. First time was an amazing experience. I decided it would be my go to for all my kids parties, celebrations, and so on. The next occasion seemed different. I was ordering a cake for 3+ weeks later but *that* wasn't good enough. Pick up the cake and it's lackluster. Just not very pretty. Went in to order baby shower items, the workers were rude and actively tried to make the process challenging. I'm super pregnant so asked.for water. Received it an am eye roll. Fast forward a year, I decide to give them one last try. The website didn't have any options to view flavors so I called. The girl couldn't give me 3 flavors that would be similar to vanilla even after explaining the site doesn't look right and I can't find it. She made the process way uncomfortable and I said my bad for giving you another try. Won't happen again!
Excellent cheese cake and service! They helped me get a new birthday cake just in time for a Birthday party. I had an accident and dropped the original!Thanks again,we loved the cheese cake!
Great little place, good baked good, great staff. Stopped by to get treats for customers. Overall very happy with the purchase.Great local shop!
Bridal shower cake was expensive, but wasn’t fresh. We also stopped getting their mini-cupcakes because they weren’t fresh either. I forgot to pick up a holiday cheesecake, and no one even bothered to call me about it.

I ordered a carrot cake from this shop. The cake was delicious, the best I’ve ever had, very moist; however, I guess I expected a cream cheese icing. It was a cream cheese icing but you could barely taste the cream cheese in the icing: it was way too sweet! I will get this cake again, but ask for them to tweak the icing a bit.
Ordered an assorted 5 dozen cupcakes for my wedding and they were absolutely DELICIOUS (and so pretty). Everyone loved them. Wayyyy better than a cake
