if there is a negative 5 star I’d give it to themthe worst buffet I’ve ever tried in Baton Rouge for now!everything there is awful, even the shrimp! how can you cook the shrimp wrong!I cant think of anything that I ate there that I can like, even the fried chicken were so awfully badthe food smell is not attractive too, you can smell it from the outside.they include the tip in the beginning because they know what people will think after trying itplease people, do yourself and your stomachs a favor and don’t eat hereat least this is my opinion!dint be fooled by the look of the food in this picture

I have not been to the place since 2019 due to COVID and concern about who might be sneezing on the food.So I went there tonight for the first time and I just came back from. Here are my observations:1. I am Ok with paying upfront, but when they impose a 10% gratuity, you will not feel like leaving a tip-which I always made it in the 20% or 25%.2. Some of the food is cold (ginger crab, boiled crawfish), and some is hot.(soup). Some is warm (fried crawfish with onions and jalapeno peppers). Either types did not have a taste at all and the crawfish was mushy.3. The boiled and spicey crawfish were too small and tiny, might as well not worry about sampling any.3. No oysters, 4 pieces were in the pan during my whole stay (at least 45 minutes).4. The steamed brocolli and shrimp: Shrimp is sweet and the brocoli still could use more steaming.5. I saw one of the cooks who tried to replace one of the almost empty pan with a new one. He grabbed some of the fried crawfish with his bare fingers to check if sttill hot or not, then placed it back in the pan!!! He then dumped the new cooked food in the old tray.6. The waitress kept taking away the unneeded dirty plates off my table. She did a good job.7. The moment you stop eating, you are served with a fortune cookie..Hint.....I used to be a die-hard customer before the pandemic. Things were different and food tasted a hell of lot better. I believe it is time I said good bye to King Buffet.

So reading the reviews I had mixed feeling about eating here. Just like some of the other reviews some of the food was hot and some just warm. They have a good selection of food tho. All in all not bad.

This was an incredible buffet! There was no wait time and we were seated right away. The selection was great. The restaurant was clean. This was our second visit and both times the food was hot and fresh and the wait staff was very quick and friendly.Definitely will visit again!

I seriously was not expecting to give this place a five-star review but the salt and pepper shrimp and the Crawfish were excellent along with the muscles clams and peel to eat shrimp and everything else I tried. But seriously the Crawfish were point on and as good as or better than most

All the food was over cooked. The restaurant was filthy. This was my first visit to Baton Rouge and I will never visit that restaurant under no circumstance. And I advise the same to you! If I had to use the restroom please excuse my expression but I will go behind the restaurant to use it. I will not on my own free will go inside of that restaurant ever again. And by the way I do not know what they use to boil the Crawfish but it smells like turpentine.

First time at this location. Went in for a Sunday Lunch. The Buffet items were plentiful and had more variety than many buffets that I have been to. More seafood items than I anticipated. Whole Crab, Stuffed Crab, three different versions of shrimp to include large head-on Prawns, Mussels, Clams. This is in addition to the regular Chinese food items. Large salad bar. Good variety on the Sushi Bar. Hot Tea costs the same as Soda. They charge a 10% Gratuity upfront. My total was $22. Average Value for the Money, but good food.

As of now, you have to pay for your meal before being seated. 10% gratuity is automatically added to your bill. It was $15 per person, soft drink with refills were $3. We always go during peak dining hours so the food is fresh and there is more variety. We went Saturday at around 6pm. I wear a mask and sanitize my hands before going to grab a new plate. They installed sneeze guards over their serving trays. The servers always cleaned up our finished plates very quickly and kept our drinks refilled. My favorite dish is the salt and pepper crabs. Favorite dessert is the coffee cakes.Low key when they give you the fortune cookies, it is a sign for you to finish up and go. ??

It's a nice place for a quick meal with options if you meeting coworkers, friends, or a loved one. They boil crawfish and the Sushi was very good. I gave it 4 stars because the boil shrimp was bland and some items were dried out because of the heat lamp.

Tried this place for the first time today. Had to pay upfront before eating, which was odd, but not a big deal. Saw that they had crawfish, was delighted, but they were some of the worst Chinese buffet crawfish that I have ever had. Some cold, some unseasoned, some tasting like wasabi, and some decent. Very odd, not sure how they managed to have all these inconsistencies in one batch. Even the half and half tea I ordered tasted off. Washed it down with some regular buffet items which were decent.
