It saddens me to give Johnny’s anything less than 5 stars. That said, this location deserves exactly 1 star. I’ll give it 2 stars for now. The service has been absent and the quality lacking well before Covid. At time of writing it is even worse.Despite that, I still give this location a chance regularly… and they regularly fail to meet basic expectations. Employees are routinely goofing around, the service is awful, and order mix ups are common. It took them over 1 hour to make my simple cheese party pizza… while I waited because the first pizza wasn’t correct all while the restaurant was not at all busy. The phones are often left ringing and online ordering is frequently down. These are not one-off event but a consistent pattern. Please do better, y’all. We need y’all to step up.
I was hoping to get some pizza the other day. I got there and saw no one up front. I didn't hang around long to wait to see if anyone came up. Mostly because the buffet wasn't open, and i was trying to grab a quick a lunch. Pretty bummed because I like their pizza and could not sit and wait for them to make one. I can't fault the place if the buffet was shut down for business reasons, or covid related reasons. The pizza has always been good, but I went to be able to eat and get out quickly, which was not their fault if the buffet has been shut down.
Do not order deliver you will get a baked take and bake which is not the same and when I put on the notes of my order they I would like a real pizza and not a baked take and bake they decided to send me an unbaked take and bake! Terrible service! Guess I’m eating bad pizza on Mother’s Day. I ordered a 14 in sausage pizza not take and bake.
Hi, I previous had eaten Johnny's pizza when I visited Shreveport for a family reunion and I thought it was very good... so at 8:45pm. I called this location to live that experience again... boy was I mistaken... The phone rang 3 times... the young lady answered the phone and said, " WE COLSED"...THEN HUNG UP !!! Johnny's you got to do better. My family of five will be more than glad and spend our money Dominoes or Pizza Hut... at least they would take my call.
This place is ungodly and awful. It pains me to write this because I’ve loved Johnny’s for over 40 years. I’ve put up with so much from this location. Tonight was the final straw: very nice, but very new, employees had no idea how to place an order. I literally spent over 10 minutes on the phone with various people who tried to figure out the computer. I finally just had to say nvm. At least they were nice; typically the employees are at best apathetic, at worst rude. The person who owns this franchise is failing the good name of Johnny’s. Johnny Huntsman is rolling over in his grave.
I have been sitting in the drive through for an hour. I used to love this place but even though I heard terrible things about it lately I decided to give it a try and what a mistake.
I just love this pizza ?! Every time we order, it’s hot and fresh and on time for pickup! The worker Always have a friendly smile and very polite!
My husband and I visited this location a week ago. We encountered the most genuine spirit named Erika. She greeted us with a smile when we walked through the door. She had made our experience 10x better with her amazing customer service.
TERRIBLE customer service. The manager was extremely rude and could not seem to understand what the problem was when I was upset that the order I had placed at 2pm to be delivered for 5:45pm was still not at my house at 6:40! They couldn’t even tell us where our order was. I have never in my life spoken to a restaurant manager that was this rude and clueless on what is going on in the restaurant. I will not be ordering from them again after this experience. It’s one thing to have a bad night and an order be late and have a manager that is apologetic of the situation but to be rude to the customer and act like it isn’t an issue is completely unacceptable in the service industry.
First, I’m from Shreveport so I’m a Johnny’s Pizza loyalist. We’ve had the pizza at the Highland location for the last few year but lately it’s been horrible. Be prepared to wait with disorganized staff even with online orders. Tonight we waited 30 minutes past the time the online order said it would be ready. Employees were dancing around and taking selfies while we sat at the pickup window. After waiting way longer than we expected and watching their employees being unprofessional, they finally came back to the window where we notified them we were still waiting. They went to the shelf where the pizzas had been sitting for how long?!?! This is our second bad visit and I think we are giving up. Management needs to meet with the employees and talk to them about being professional on the job, wearing their masks properly when preparing food and being courteous to patrons. Something has to give. We love Johnny’s and just hope it improves with both their employees and management.
