1st time I went I had chopped beef it tastes like dog food the French fries are good the 2nd time I had a hamburger and it was good I enjoyed it

Did not tickle my fancy AT ALL. Please try to add some type of salt and pepper to your mac and cheese and THEN bake that macaroni!! Baked beans don't require vinegar. And the ribs, just wrong. $20.00 for a rib dinner plate with NO DRINK and I couldn't even eat. I won't be back. Quality is GONE GONE GONE and so is any type of seasoning. Had to throw the plate away as it wasn't fit to even give to my dogs!! Yall wrong. Just dead wrong.
I came in because I only wanted bbq baked beans and garlic bread, but they don't serve garlic bread. This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I ended up getting a cheeseburger, no tomatoes, no ketchup and no onions with bbq baked beans. IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT!! Food was MAGNIFICENT ❤️! AMD, mu burger wasade with to bottom sides of the bun, just how I love it!! Service was WONDERDUL also! We will be back!
That was the worse hamburger we ever had no taste dry burnt bun shoestring fries with no seasoning on they and the waiter charged us for fully dressed burgers and my burger didn't even have all the dressing and they high with that nasty food a dog wouldn't eat that
I don't know what's happened to this place. The "BBQ" tastes like it was cooked in an oven and topped with BBQ sauce. The sliced beef was nothing more than deli-style roast beef, absolutley no smoke flavor at all. I can get the same thing at Rouse's for cheaper and at least I know it wsn't supposed to be BBQ. Reall sad, because this place used to be great. Did they change ownership?
Best BBQ in Baton Rouge, hands down. There's a reason they have been around over 60yrs.

The staff is beyond friendly. Sit at the bar and watch them work while you eat. They are all so happy.
