This was an amazing hotel! I usually don't sleep well when I am away from home, but the room and the bed wereso comfortable that I slept the whole night without a problem. I loved the dual shower heads in bathroom, with the with the large rain feature. I also love the small details: for example, each floor has art featuring small Rodrigue paintings/replicas directing you to your room. The only downside was a view of a derelict building from my window.

Very unpleasant experience. I'm not sure what has happened to IHG over the past year or 2 but it's sad. For 1 my experience today when checking in, I was not greeted with a thank you for being a diamond Elite member, 2nd my Room preference floor level was not anywhere near correct, 3rd no upgrades were offered, 4th I felt like I was rushed without anyone behind me in line, and 5th parking was not available so valet parking is required and an extra charge to the almost $200 after taxes Room bill per night. What was the point for striving to earn points and becoming an Diamond Elite member when you get the same level of service as a fast food restaurant. ?

Registration and were easy. Great valet service. All personnel with which I came in contract were extremely friendly and helpful. Problems were with accommodations

We came down for a LSU game weekend & had the best experience! Amazing staff & service. Room was a little smaller than expected but it was well furnished & very clean but the best part was how friendly & helpful the ladies in the lobby & the gentleman at the valet. Amazing weekend!!

Rooms were clean and decent. carpet in the hallway of the 7th floor was starting to come up. No clear communication about the doors being locked at night. Better signage would have been better or move the bush in front of the key slot. At this time, no valet, which was no a big deal but trying to find a parking space was. Their lot is very small. Other people were taking multiple spots as well. If you get back to the hotel late, you will probably have to find a place to park in the street. Front desk associates were nice and helpful.

I was on a solo road trip in October 2021 and had the opportunity of spending a Sunday night at this hotel in downtown Baton Rouge. I had never stayed at a Hotel Indigo before, and I was rather impressed! I arrived at around 2 p.m. on Sunday and was able to get into my room after waiting for just a few minutes while the hotel staff ensured that it was ready. My room (#712) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. I appreciated the business center and being able to surf the Internet during my stay. Plus, I enjoyed a drink at the bar on Sunday night. Altogether, the hotel was relatively quiet on this Sunday night which was nice. I also appreciated the free parking on site. There's a cafe on site but I can't really speak to what kind of food they served. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay. A great location for a nice boutique hotel like this. If I ever find myself in Baton Rouge again, I would strongly consider staying here again... but at least now I know what the Hotel Indigo brand is like. I'd like to stay at more of them!

i booked this hotel for my husband and i to get away for the weekend. i wish i would have read the reviews beforehand because it has happened to a lot of people. If you book through trip advisor they will transfer you to someone when you are done booking. They will tell you that they are celebrating 100 million members and offer a package deal to one of their locations to celebrate. 279.00 for 3 nights and 4 days (they will give you your 279 back on the 2nd day of your trip) i bought the package only to find out that they won't even accomodate my size family (this took me being on the phone all day and constantly hung up on) and they refuse to give me my money back. They took it immediately out of my account but won't refund me when they can't even accomadate a family of our size. They also do not tell you that you are to sit through a timeshare presentation and that if you don't, they will not give you your money back. They are complete scammers and i will never book through a 3rd party like trip advisor again. i wish i knew a way to report these people. They do not care to help you, they only care about the money they get. If you dont believe me then go look at the holiday inn resort reviews in gatlinburg tennessee. They have scammed a lot of people and on top of that are rude to YOU. like they aren't the ones scamming people daily. i will not only never book through a 3rd party but i will never stay at a holiday inn affiliated hotel again becasue that is unprofessional and terrible service!!! everyone working for holiday inn club vacations should be highly ashamed of themselves. my advice is to go on Vrbo or airbnb. you can get an entire home (nice ones too) for half the price of hotels and resorts and not get scammed in the process. my husband and i have been members of holiday inn express for years and this is a complete shame!

Drunk People in the hallway at 245 am until 330 am yelling, taking, laughing, etc.. Called the front desk 3 times, and nothing was done. Went down in the am to complain, and the manager said “they also have a right, as they are also hotel guests”!

The staff was amazing! They were always quick to ask how our day had been, they even drove us to the convention center when our shuttle was late. It rained while we were out and they had warm towels waiting on us at the door to dry off with. Rooms were small, but the walk in shower was awesome! Very clean. Nice view of the bridge. Easy walking distance to several bars and restaurants.

Myself, my family and our golden retriever Boris stayed at Hotel Indigo during a recent road trip from Austin Texas to Naples Florida. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much as any hotel that accepts dogs is never going to be of a particularly high standard. The hotel is well located in what seems to be a reasonably safe part of Baton Rouge, the rooms are clean, modern and generally comfortable. I paid in advance for valet parking which turned out to be a parking lot behind the hotel with about 20 spaces (there was no valet) and generally the lot was full and difficult to find a space. Sleeping at the hotel was quite difficult due to the high levels of noise in the corridors of the hotel itself up to 3am, and also muscle cars immediately outside the hotel parading until 4am…Overall, for what the hotel costs, I couldn’t grumble. On a side note, if I were to repeat this road trip again I wouldn’t stop in Baton Rouge. I drove out to pick up some food for my family the evening we were there, and overall found it to be a pretty depressed and intimidating place, poor suburbs with gangs hanging out on street corners at night. I am an experienced traveller who has travelled extensively throughout Africa, so I have been to some pretty rough places and I wouldn’t care to go back to Baton Rouge.
