Spent a couple days in the area for work and was struggling to find a friendly face and a good meal. Frank’s had both! The smothered beef tips on real mashed potatoes were fantastic, and every staff member I encountered was super nice and helpful. I wish I would have found this place earlier. All around great experience. Keep it up guys!
I haven't been since I left Baton Rouge more than two decades ago ... It exceeded the memory. Our northern family members loved it. It was our breakfast spot back in the day so I never knew they did such a fantastic muffaletta. Great food and super, friendly service.
Great service and yummy food! Portions are generous for the price so don’t order with your eyes unless you want leftovers. The sampler was a good choice if you want to try different types of sausages. Just a tasty and comfy homestyle breakfast kind of place. Would recommend!
Best biscuits & gravy hands down! Oh that stuffed French toast! Always a busy breakfast filled with loyal customers. We drive 30 minutes to enjoy it. Denise is my favorite server with her friendliness & beautiful smile.
I haven't been to Frank's in a couple of years. Good thing that things haven't changed: the friendly staff, the fair pricing, the portions, and the FOOD! It's still as good as I remember it. My teen nephew and I both enjoyed it thoroughly!
First restaurant I ate at in Louisiana in almost 15 years, and it brought back so many memories. Food was great, customer service was amazing. Our waitress was sweet and was the perfect example of southern hospitality. Highly recommend.
This is a great place for an old fashioned breakfast! The pattern on the tablecloth, red and white, reminds me of an old time picnic. Simple and easy to use silverware. Absolutely delicious biscuits! The sweet tea was just right. I really liked the texture of the napkins. Worked well. Back to the biscuits, the only thing that could have been better is fresh jelly or jam instead of prepackaged, don't get me wrong, it was still good.
I swear even though it tore up my partner’s and I’s stomach, the food was still good. I know it wasn’t the pork chop breakfast I ordered , that was one thing we didn’t share. The entree was the Cajun omelette. No lie that was soooo good. I think the eggs was bad for both of us to be feeling bad. Overall our waitress was great and of course food was good with the exception of diarrhea all day. Maybe next time…..
Beignet Pancake Puppies.... Need I say more? Delicious food great home environment. Definitely a go to if in the area.
My coworker invited me to Frank's to have lunch when I was in town. Honestly I wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be a great experience, I would recommend this place for your breakfast or lunch when in Baton Rouge, if you're just passing by it worth the detour from I-10. Great food, super friendly service from Katelyn.
